My Kanger mini protank has arrived and I can say im very pleased. I have been using the standard ce4 for 5 months and thought it was time to upgrade. After asking on this forum alot of people advised me to get one of these and they are great. Last week I brought some of the EVOD clearomizers and was pleased with them but the kanger is alot better. To be honest there isn't much difference between the kanger and the Evod in the way they are built and operate. Only difference is the kanger is made of pyrex glass and the coil looks like it sits a bit lower in the juice? When I brought the Kanger from myepack I thought I would treat myself to some premium juice after always buying the cheapest I could find lol. Was dissapointed to be honest. Got some Dekang Story Of Lip and it tastes horrible lol. Was hoping it would be a nice cherry taste like the normal fruit flavours but maybe a bit stronger. First of all I couldn't get anything to come out so took drip tip off and could see a hole so tried again and the drip tip burst off and juice went everywhere lol. After reading reviews on that liquid I realised there is a bit you have to snap off . Once I filled up my new Kanger I had to tip it back out as it was vile lol. Put my normal juice back in but can still taste the Story Of Lips but its slowly going.

Good to hear you're pleased with your Protank Paul. The heads are interchangeable between it and your Evods as well. Tbh I wouldn't call Dekang a premium eliquid . . . Tjuice's range seem to be popular currently: t-juice.com/t-juice-shop.html

They're brilliant aren't they. I got my Kanger mini protank 2 a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it, just had to order a 2nd one of course, a much better vape than those CE4 clearos, could do with buying a 3rd but I've spent enough over the last few weeks as I also splashed out and got myself 2 new itaste vv/ww batteries in place of the ego 650 batteries, so I'm all spent up now icon_shoppingm
As for better juices, I also splashed out and got myself some Griswalds juice, a bit more pricey than I normally get, but well worth the money. I especially like the 'honey beez' from there so far and ordered a full size bottle after trying their 5ml sampler bottle. Got some more samples coming as well, not here yet, coz I had them delivered to a friend in the UK who will bring them over to me in 10 days time. I like the sweeter juices and the honey beez is spot on for my sweet tooth.
I had a Dekang blackberry which was quite nice, but I've also got the peach and I just cannot vape it, it is far too tarty for me. Probably need some cream or custard to mix with it to tone it down, but it is exceptionally tarty so I think it would need 1/10th peach and 9/10th's cream or custard.

Good to hear that the pro tanks are such a success and that the heads are interchangeable with the Evod as I have both on order! Just thought I'd add a recommendation for a juice that I have found really good and from reading your comments above, might be worth a try. Vermillion river (in particular Kentucky premium blend). I'm quite new to vaping (and very new to this forum!) but have tried quite a lot of different makes and flavours of juice to try and establish what flavour I like. I've been quite surprised with the results. Generally I don't have a sweet tooth but for a laugh I ordered whizz mix Mrs B's vanilla custard and loved it - this from an ex 30 a day cafe creme smoker! The only fruit one I've enjoyed has been Mango (from the same supplier) - tastes more like lime and is very refreshing without being tart. Generally I like a bit of tobacco mixed with a not too sweet vanilla /biscuit/ caramel which I find in the vermillion river range (all the above from www.uk-eliquid.co.uk ).

I was planning on only using it for a few months while I give up smoking but with all the flavours and different things you can buy it gets very addictive lol. I love it when a parcel comes and I have a new toy or flavour to try lol.

glad you're liking mini protank, I got one last week after starting with those evil ce4's and they are great! Just a quick thread hijack, I'm browsing fasttech for replacement coils ( no rush, just will want some in ready) so then >> what ohms do I buy?? I didnt know they came in different 'powers' I'm using a itaste vv and I think my original mini protank came with 2.2's. On fasttech they only have 1.8 and 2.5 in Authentic Kanger Protank Clearomizer Coil Heads (5-Pack) and what about their own heads? are they ok --- here I am dying to shop but clueless icon_shoppingm

Good question Pep. I'd like to know what difference the ohms make. I seem to remember the lower the ohms the more hit you get but I could be wrong.

They are cheap on fasttech and I did a 9 page search on forum....... ....but still didn't learn about ohms, just that their version was OK, 9 dollars for 10 but they have authentic 5 for 5.79 so I'd buy them except they only have 1.8 and 2.5

Oh, I forgot to say, I ordered 1.80ohms from elsewhere and it appears they are 2.2ohms according to my itaste battery LED display

By the way Pepperty what settings have you got your itaste battery on? Last night I had mine on voltage of 4.5 and wattage of 7.5 and I was getting a slight burnt taste. Today I've reset it to voltage of 4.0 and wattage of 6.0 and everything is fine now, no burnt taste at all. Just curious.

I tend to generally have wattage between 6.5 and 7.5 ... voltage 3.5 ish. I still haven't a clue! I just stick it in, start low and tweak
I'm sure its dependent on juice as i'm trying JJ's belgian waffle and it tasted a bit toasted? whereas the settings were perfect for JJ's apple pie and I cranked the wattage up to 9 and it was spot on ( though how would I know, its all so new to me!!) Anything tastes batter than the plastic cheapo clearomisers
