Hi all, Glad I found this forum. I have been flitting between smoking and using e-cigarettes for a while nowbut am ready to make the switch 100%. I currently buy nicolites but think this maybe expensive long term so am looking at the kits. The one i found is www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/featured-products/tornado-mini-rcs-blister-kit-and-e-product.htmlCan anyone tell me if this is a good place to start? I want something that is simple to use and convenient. I read that you have to change the coils. Does anyone know how often this is needed? thanks in advance. Tom

Hiya @tommyemerrson, wait a bit and see. You'll get loads of links to stuff thats more affordable, just as good (and in some cases better) don't expect to like the 1st flavour you try. Have more than 1 decent Battery, and do expect Vaping to be as expensive as Smoking, for the first month or two anyway. It's a LOT healthier Vaping!!

Hello tommyemmerson and this would be a really good value kit to start off with myepack.co.uk/evod-starter-kit.htmlIt comes with 5 spare heads which just simply screw in, how often you have to change them though depends on the type of e-liquid your using and how much you vape. They can also be washed, boiled and all sorts to keep them going a bit longer. I would recon though about a week

Welcome. Clearly, Nicolites are ruinously expensive, so you've done the right thing to jump ship. Most of us are not keen on Totally Wicked, the products are OK (apart from one or two which are garbage of the highest order) but almost everything is re-branded and more expensive than it needs to be. For £19.99 I'd say it's OK. Then again, I'd prefer this myepack.co.uk/kits/mini-protank-kit.htmlDon't go thinking that it's the same without the free liquid (so a worse deal) as the mini protank alone is £10.

Welcome to you tommyemmerson. It's so worth a little investment initially to get a good starter kit . . . cheapest isn't the best bet in the long term really. Buy cheap, buy twice.

@tommyemerson +1 for the evod kit. The evod is a good device and it is best to get two of everything. 2 batteries so that you can charge one while using the other, and 2 clearos so the you can have different flavours in each. And anyway you need a spare in case you drop one or something.

Thanks for all the replies and welcomes. I think i will avoid the totally wicked as the parts do look expensive. Another quick question I work outside all the time so can anyone recommend a good case for the evod kits? Or a generic case? Thanks again

tommyemmerson - hi and a big welcome to AAEC! Go to your nearest Poundland or other budget store, and pick up yourself a Nintendo case for um, er, well, a pound. Never know, you might find something better like a little snap-lid tupperware-type case instead. Or a humungous one which will hold all the juice you are about to start buying, along with new batteries, chargers, atomiser heads, Protanks, cartomisers (just to see what they are like), a DCT, a couple of RDAs, a nice shiny RBA, ramble, ramble, ramble. Who said this vaping lark was cheap!? At least your plastic box will be. . . . . Andy
