So my MVP2 turned up today at work along with 2 protanks IIs, got home to find 50ml Mrs Lord Seville Marmalade. fired it all up at 8.5 watts and wow what a vale although a little airy. I then spotted that the beauty I'd fitted that came with the mpv2 had two air holes whilst the ring supplied with the protank had no holes so swapped them over and much much better, I think I'm in love So the issue, and I know it's well documented, that damn switch on the bottom of the MPV2giving the wobble will drive me insane. Straight outgo my workshop with the intention of whipping the base of then gently needle the switch so it stands flush. I'm guessing the screws are torx but the smallest I have is T7, has anyone removed the base plate and can they confirm screw size. once I know I'll be straight to the hardware store to pick one up Apart from that niggle so far I'm well pleased

HI
Nice bit of Kit.
You can use a small screw driver to push the slider switch in a ways.
Do it bit by bit and eventually it will sit flush
It is a common bug-bear with the MVP's

So the tool required to unscrew the baseplate is a Torx T6. I unscrewed the base but the plate doesn't come of and I decided against pulling the innards out in case I screwed the device. So plan B was to mask all around the switch button with some packing tape and then using a needle file gently file the switch flush, no it stands on end with zero wobble

As above torx t6, I fully disembled mine to strip the paint off and polish the aluminium body. I flattened the button a few months ago by sliding it back and forth with a bit of pressure using a small flat head screw driver.

I just took an angle grinder to my switch at work with the mvp in a vice, flattened it down well flush. Looks tidy
