jo, I always mop the plastic bit on my coil part with tissue paper as there's always big gollups of juice on it when I go to refill, stops me getting mouthful of eliquid - sorted!

I've got 4 Iclear 30s ... Think they're bloody marvellous .. I tend to vape around 11 watts which can shorten their life span ... But I was a heavy smoker of B&H and still need that throat hit ... I have found that after 2-3 weeks performance drops off ... Almost to the point where they are useless on un-kicked mech mod or egos but still ok on cranked up Vamo ... But a quick wash and dry burn sorts it out But you can only do that 3-4 times before you need to do it almost every 2-3 days But for around £1.25 per spare head from china and £1.75 from uk it's easy to change your head ... When you do you do realise how much the one you thought was ok has actually tailed off ... Fantastic bits of kit IMHO

I just wash mine out on a pretty much daily basis though the heads aren't lasting me as long as that ....any idea what am doing wrong though I do vape a lot (10ml + a day) I've only washed mine once in a month (sonic cleaner) perhaps washing it daily is doing something to it or perhaps the juice, not sure johanino.

I'm afraid that after my first forays into diligently cleaning heads and tanks (and killing them) I've decided to just occasionally swill out tank under tap and lob in new juice so ...I don't bother cleaning at all. the iclear16 seem to keep on going for weeks without any maintenance as as the coils are so cheap I just use until they taste manky I know, I should be ashamed of myself...

My very first iclear16 is on it's 3rd week after one overnight bicarbonate soak and a timid attempt at a dry burn which probably didn't achieve anything, still seems to be as good as new, excellent little things IMO

You've gotta be brave with the dry burn .. Keep pulsing and blowing on it until the coils glow red ... It can take a fair few pulses to burn off the crud

iclear coil now into week nine, had its second clean and dry burn two days ago and its as good as when I took it out the packet. Using it at 4.2V on an mvp with a 2ohm coil. Going like a champ.

I got an Ic30S yesterday. I'm happy with my ic30 but, the 'S' looks nicer, so wanted to try it out.
The draw is too airy for me, so I wont use it long term. I think they have increased the hole size at the bottom.
The whole top metal section is interchangeable with the old one. It screws onto the clear plastic tank the same, so that's useful. When you screw-out the drip tip, the hole allows the use of a 510 drip tip, without too much affect on the draw. I will grind off the ribbing on my old ones, to improve the look.
Also agree with someone's earlier comment that the Aspire BDC gives a similar vape. I only have it in CE5 format, which is too low capacity for me. I don't really like the look of the Davide, and although the Vivi Nova would suit my needs, I will await other designs to use BDC heads, before getting another. My CE5 has been in constant use for the week I've had it and there doesn't seem to be any degradation of coil yet.

I've watched the video on the first page and followed instructions to the last, but my coils don't go red when I fire up the innokin V3. Have it up to 11w and kept it pressed the full amount of time the V3 allows and repeated this 5 or 6 times already, but no glow, smoke or anything. Is it a goner or do I just need to keep at it until the gunk burns off?

A good overnight steep in a denture tablet solution then dried off should get rid of most of it newdawn or a bath in an Ultra Sonic Cleaner without the need to dry burn, I never dry burn!

I don't have an ultrasonic cleaner so will get some denture tablets. Are the steradent complete care extra strength tablets ok? I've a grocery delivery coming in the morning and was going to add those to the shop. Still want to give dry burning a go though.
