Crank the wattage up to 9.5 - 11 Im not sure what ohms law would say that translated to in voltage but at a guess it would be 4.7v to 5.1.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Ive to wait until Santa comes before trying out my iclear30s...but if they're anywhere near as good as iclear16s I'll be chuffed I do like my glass tanks as I oft taste plastic in clrearos? but oh my! the iclears give off serious 'plumage' <if that's even a word?

It can take a tank full of liquid for a coil to get ' run in ' . . . I wouldn't be too hasty myself Davy Tee.

I'm just getting to grips with my iclear 30...have 30 heads coming from ebnferro today I don't taste much after the first few days anyways so it doesn't bother me and I mix liquid every few days.... They are fab...bit of faffing if they flood (think wick falling off and wiping out with a cotton bud - kind of messy ) but otherwise fab and such a good buy

As others have said, all coils take a while to bed in, particularly top coils. Dual coiled clearos also need to be run at around one and a half times the wattage that you would normally use for a single coil as the available heating current is being split between the two coils.

Thanks for replies i think the problem is im using a 1300 ego battery with no voltage control so looks like i have to upgrade my battery After the second fill i am starting to get the taste of the juice now but i dont think the battery is powerful enough.

Hi @davy Tee. I moved from a 1300mAh spinner, which was OK, to an MVP2 which is a Variable Wattage/Variable Voltage 2600mAh power pack. It has MUCH more "Bant" than an ego battery, lasts all day, and I'm a pretty heavy Vaper. I think I paid £40ish a couple of months ago, and that included two iClear 16s. I have since seen them packaged with an iClear 30 instead of the 16s for similar money. I just got an iClear 30s and am using it on my MVP and it's fine. I work on the principle of how much a months fags would cost (including lighters) and then budget for juice and Vaping devices. I worked out I COULD afford to buy an Original Chi You MOD and whatever Atomiser took my fancy AND a supply of premium juice to last me til Xmas, and I smoked Roll Ups!! It can seem expensive (and is) to keep upgrading kit and improving MODs, buying IMR batteries and chargers. BUT do an honest price comparison and 20 fags at UK prices is £8ish, a day, and if you went for a drink you'd buy 40, so closing on £60 a week to spend on Vaping. It would be difficult to spend £3,000 a YEAR on Vaping (cue Super-Shiny!!) even if you get Shinyitis!!

It would be difficult to spend £3,000 a YEAR on Vaping (cue Super-Shiny!!) even if you get Shinyitis!! It can be done quite easily, believe me keepitgoin. But, I was spending £70+ a week on cigs 3.5years ago . . . over a £100 that would now be. However, I am a reformed character . . . . .
