Feeling depressed after surgery.

Hi Peeps.

Sorry I posted my resolution post, have had surgery today, and that plus after effects of anesthetics.made my mind fuddled

and a state of depression.

Thanks for your kind `logical` words, I was wrong in posting it, please accept my heart felt apologies.

I shall continue to keep you updated when ever I can.

My New Years resolution: To fight even harder to SAVE E_CIGS and STOP EU Parliament & RHMA restricting our mods and atty`s along with juices.

They shall not `grind me down`, the fight will continue.

jeffc, if you can't get away with saying stuff you don't really mean on the same day you've had surgery, then I don't know when you can!!! Hope you're feeling back to your old self very soon!

jeffc you are without a doubt a top bloke and keep at it with all you do, your advice on attys and the ban on vaping and many other things is top notch, Surgery/Anesthetics is always gonna be a downer and you are feeling down.

jeffc... sorry to hear your feeling a little low today, I hope the surgery was a complete success.

Just because you don't 'appear' to get a lot of feedback on your timely posts re proposed threats to our 'vaping' liberty, doesn't mean it hasn't been taken onboard. I, for one, always check out your posts, but I think people find it easier to respond to 'lighter' topics. It doesn't mean they haven't acted, just that they don't feel able to respond in a political discussion. I think most of us hate politics, and if we start discussing it, usually turns too heated, and they don't wish to get involved.

It's people like you that the rest of us should be grateful to... protecting our backs.

Jeff I hope you're starting to feel better. As others have said, anesthetic can be a bugger - I hallucinated for days after mine, really weird s**t I can tell you

As far as your perceived reaction to your brilliant and relentless campaigning, take heart from what others have said - many of us sign the petitions or write letters but fail to "report back". Also, it's a fact of life that the majority of people don't get off their backsides. General elections are decided by an incredibly small number of swinging voters. There are supposedly 1.3 million vapers in the UK. A tiny minority look at forums. Of those a tiny minority join rather than lurk. Of those a minority take any sort of political action. Getting 5,000 signatures in a couple of days is a bloody miracle given those statistics mate!

I hope you feel better soon jeffc - I've had a few operations and hate the feeling you get afterwards.

I agree with OneDay on the campaigning - I think more people take note that any of us realise. I know I read the posts but rarely contribute to the threads on that side of things just because I prefer not to get into discussions about politics on the internet. I personally stick to talking about my vaping experiences on AAEC, but it doesn't mean I don't read and take note (and actions where needed) of the wider issues that we all face going forwards.
