No melitahams it is the version from Fasttech but they are all probably made in the same Chinese factory anyway lol

I just ordered one , it's not that much expensive so will see if it will works

melitahams you will be delighted with this Taifun GT from Fasttech.

Just check the deck area to ensure it is made from S/Steel, some have been supplied with chrome brass plated decks.

(just scratch the deck, make sure no yellow colour appears).

Enjoy it, but thoroughly clean it first before you set it up for use.

I got one already from Vapur Break and its almost 2 weeks now I just ordered the SS tank to keep as spare but guess will order another one as I found it better than the Kayfun lite clone and the Ithaka clone could be that I will exchange the Ithaka clone to a Taifun if someone is interested

Welcome back TJ  .... I thought you had run off with the Christmas Fairy lol  ....  I have been using the Taifun with the chromed brass deck for a couple of weeks and there is no sign of the chrome blistering and I will certainly be holding onto it as a spare when I get my SS replacement ....  try a microcoil and cotton build on it ...  10 times better than the silica ... I did a little photo session on one of the previous pages of this thread  ... a very simple build and a terrific vape.

I was away over Christmas and busy being jumped on by my nephews and building their new toys as well as doing abit of rewicking and mixing so the forum went abit on the back burner. Been vaping some bobas bounty and gorilla juice in the oddy clones I got for Christmas they seem to be quite good clones too: might have to give the cotton a go I was impressed with the silica I had on the chromed brass base. It's weird I received the base that was sent after the ss tank but not complaining as was enjoying the taifun before.

Too narrow for any of my mods but reckoned to be a good RBA clone by all accounts ... I think the FT version is by Hcigar so it should be a good 1:1 copy

Haha that has been mentioned considering I was looking at acrylic stands for a few things haha. I already own a ss and brass nemesis and svd , vamo, evic, poldiac clone, waiting on the caravela clone not got enough hands

I am really confused because I received the replacement base over the holidays but I am sure it looks the same as the original one they sent. I do not really want to scratch it. Is there any other way to tell if it is chrome plated? ???

Why not scratch it kailey ?  ...  if it is SS then great, if chrome brass kick up stink!  .... I will certainly be scratching my replacement when it arrives.

ETA: There is some debate on the Fasttech forum that the new bases are not in fact SS but galvanised mild steel  .... hence the shiny look (zinc plating)?
