Chrissie, peeps has just said in post 70 they are the 600 mah's. Even if they are the 400's, they should still work in the charger and in the GG without any magnets or the false battery.

Peeps, fold up a tiny piece of tin foil and place it on top of the battery then screw attie cap on. Those flat top batteries can be temperamental.

Blue, I think Perps linked to the wrong ones & as from the pics on the moju site, they more or less look the same, I think that's why Beeps thought they where the right ones? In Beeps post #66 she says "Batteries are just marked 400mAh 4.8V...and so far I have tried them in both ways!" So I'm fairly certain she has the 14650 5v batts - www.mojurepublic.com/products/5-Volt-NIMH-batteries-%28400mah%29.html

Yep, you're right Chrissie. Well, unless she's dismantled it and put the caps on the wrong ends, I'm stumped. There's not a lot can go wrong with one of these things.

I'm completely confused as to what batteries Beepsie actually has.
If Chris & Blue think they're 14650's then that's good enough for me, although the 14650's I had wouldn't fit the GGTB without spacers.
It would be helpful if Roachie looks in, if he could confirm which of the Moju batteries Beeps has . . . there's no way an 18650 fits, it's not physically possible.

Great stuff Roachie, thanks for clearing that one up . . . Chris & Blue were absolutely correct. We just need to get Beepsie up and running now.

Purely from looking at Roachie's pic, i'd say the batts look more like the bigger ones...but unless Beep has misread the mah printed on them, they can't be...it says on Moju's site that they're roughly the same size as a 18650, but if they're slightly slimmer, they could just fit? anyway, did Beep send you the pics of the pin, Perp, cos the batts won't matter anyway, if the pin is broken it's soooooo frustrating when something won't work, trying to figure out what's wrong...wouldn't it be lovely if Beep could just pop next door to one of us who have a GGTB and we could get her sorted but, worry not, Beep, we will get you sorted, one way or another

I thought they had to be them Roachie - 14650 5v 400 mAh. As Perpy & others have said, the 18650 5v that Moju also sells, would be too fat.

For those who don't know, the numbers the batteries are given depict diameter by length. So a 14650 battery is 14 mm in diameter & 65mm long. A 18650 is 18 mm & also 65 mm long

Re the 5v batts....which batts are they made up from? cos they're made from several small batts stacked together inside an outer casing, aren't they... anyone know?

According to camperman, the 18650 size 5v batts fit the GGTB. (he posted this somewhere but I can't remember where) I hav'nt any to try or I would.
