Super-Shiny I think your guides are well-read and well respected and as such it would be a shame to focus a new guide on one specific high-end atty like the Kayfun. Something more generic, such as how to cure a gurgling clearo for example, might get a bigger audience.

Obviously not read the 'Beginners Guide' Perpetua We tried to make it as simple as possible and aimed at new mixers. I thought the terminology was explained well (but then I would ) Feedback was requested and still is, the guide is intended to be updated/added too/altered as required by members.

How about doing a mixing session tutorial Romelee for newbies even though plenty of stuff in the archives. You get to put your own spin on it. I would do one but I am crap explaining things. Was thinking about it but the problem being is we all have way too many different methods of mixing, don't think there is any uniformity in mixing, some use droppers some don't, some pour their liquids into decanters some don't etc etc.........again that's another reason why i am in doubt with the Kayfun guide, way too many different versions of how to build it out there, i could do a guide on cotton but there are loads who prefer silica and vice versa. Plus my way of mixing is very uniformity/military and might put some people off mixing

That has been on my mind for sometime now and the only thing holding me back is how many different clearo's are out there that people use, plus ratio of juices, then the re-buildable side of things with all the different clearos and ratio's and silica or ekowool and cotton But saying that i really like the idea, just trying to get my head around it is the tricky part

I appreciate what you are saying sammy13 , and you are right in saying that it can all be a bit overwhelming, but sometimes it is just plainly obvious that the person has made absolutely no effort to search the forum or the internet before asking a question. I just hate to think that Super-Shiny has gone out of his way and given of his valuable time to help others and a very small minority refuse to help themselves .... just my personal opinion which can of course be agreed with or dismissed as the ranting of a grumpy old git .... no ill feelings either way You know I wouldn't have bad feelings, but if the newbie posts a question, then they can be redirectied in Roms way, no harm done, and that is what we are here for- to help

Do you fancy doing the battery guide/intro to the mods/rebuildables section that I have so far miserably failed to do? I have some material.

Super-Shiny I think your guides are well-read and well respected and as such it would be a shame to focus a new guide on one specific high-end atty like the Kayfun. Something more generic, such as how to cure a gurgling clearo for example, might get a bigger audience. Whilst I agree that the cure to gurgling guide would be a great addition to the guides already present, I'm afraid I disagree about it being s shame to write a Kayfun guide.. reason? They are without doubt one of the few atomisers that vapers aspire to own.. this alone would make it a worthy article.. Especially since the clones have come about which brings the design into more people's budget.. I had no end of problems with my lites when I first got them.. a well written article by someone who has owned the three most popular Kayfuns would've been very welcome!! I said earlier that it would need a lot of information to make it worthwhile, but after thinking about it, that may not be the case.. yes, there a loads of build options out there, but if the author was to just concentrate on say two builds that work without too much effort, this would then give the owners a starting point to understand just how good they can be.. whether they choose to further experiment is then up to them? If you then detail filling methods (I believe there is already a Super-Shiny article about one method), quick fixes to gurgling (top o-ring, how to clear chamber of excess juice, freeing 3.1 sticky valve, tightening airflow on kfl, etc) that's pretty much it.. I would have no problem writing the article but I have problems putting explanations into effective wording. Jason doesn't have this issue lol
