enjay Sorry to hear of your troubles mate ... There are two things to consider here ... the seal around the 510 pin on the MVP did not do its job if it allowed liquid to leak into the body of the mod in such a large quantity and as such I would have returned it for repair or replacement .... you say it was a brand new clearo just out of the packet but did you strip it down and make sure that the head was tight before use? .. it is very common for a head to be loose in a new clearo or for a seal to be not seated correctly ... a pre-use strip down, check and reassembly takes less than a minute but can save a lot of grief.

You tooted to 999 puffs, it does this. Sorry I'm spoiling everyone's fun. Once it gets past 999 puffs it goes through some sort of cleaning cycle, just reset the puff counter by clicking the button 3 times and turning the device on again by clicking 3 times. Spoils sport !! Lol

Also you need to check the O ring below the flange on the head is still there. When I've cleaned my heads sometimes these drop off and it's quite hard to spot it's gone.

Oh dear. This is indeed an unfortunate situation. It sounds like both the MVP and the Protank have had some sort of failure, and at the same time too.
Both were ordered from myepack on the 30th september, so that was less than 3 months ago. However, the warranty on these products is pretty poor. With the MVP probably only getting 30 days, and the protank 24 hours, as stated on their website.
I will email them anyway, to see what's what, but I suspect they wont likely be that helpful, but you never know. A lot of these ecig vendors will bend over backwards to help.

I have emailed them, to see what they can do. lisburnvapes mentioned above the cheapest price I have heard for them if you want a replacement though. Never knew you could get them that cheap, and is less than I paid initially for that one. If your thinking of getting another.

The MVP version 2 doesn't have a cleaning cycle. OP very strange, 2 faults happening at the same time ???

Everything on the mvp is tight and all seals for the tank are there and look perfect, it's just unlucky. Definitely want another one of them or another make, either or. I see there's a chip etc on the board, wonder if there's a wiring schematic so I can fix it, most chips are only a couple of quid anyway. I reckon there's probably only a fivers worth of damage in reality but it's just figuring which part needs replaced. On the flip side I've got all my new stuff just arrived lol, got pg and vg as well as flavouring etc! Maybe just stick it in a teaspoon and sniff

Could be that the liquid got really warm and thinned till it was like water and that would probably cause most tanks to empty

Googling it it sounds like protank leakage is pretty common, some people seem to be finding it leaks with some juices but not others. Never have any problems with leakage, on Protanks or Evods . . . I put it down to using VG heavy eliquid, which doesn't help you now enjay.

Lol, I've no idea why it leaked but I'm not alone.
But, the good news is that it seems to be working again to some extent, not sure if it's fully working in every way but I hooked up the other tank that came with the mvp and I'm now getting a hit. I went to see a friend who is a whiz with electronic stuff, got it out the bag and went to show him what it was doing and when I held the power button it did what it was meant to! I said thanks to him for fixing it and left lol.
I'll take pics of the protank and seals etc later and post them up so you can see for yourself it's all in order, don't know why it leaked though. It leaked a bit before when I left it on its side too but as it was on its side it obviously just left a little puddle on the table. I took it apart and thought maybe I'd done something so rinsed it all out, dried it and put it back together and have since been leaving it standing up but I certainly wont be doing that again.
Cheers for all the replies people, appreciate it.
