So I've bought the innokin SVD as a complete kit including two 18650 batteries and charger, should I just use one battery at a time so I have a spare or both at the same time? The SVD is telescopic so can take either or.
Are they better with two batteries? In which case I should buy a couple of spares.
Cheers, still learning

It can take only 1 18650. It's the 18350s that can be stacked, although it's not recommended to do so. So you have a spare whilst the other is charging! :-)

I thought the SVD only takes 1 x 18650 OR 2 x 18350?

Tbh I haven't a clue, the batteries are still charging so I haven't even tried them in yet lol, I just assumed it could take one or two of them. So the 18350's will be shorter I take it? Are they 3.7v too? Or is 3.7v the max the thing takes?

Please, please, please!!! NEVER stack lithium batteries ... one 18650 or one 18500 or one 18350 ... it is telescopic so that it can accomodate one of any size of 18mm diameter battery.

Not too sure about the battery voltage enjay, all I know is it can take one 18350, 18500 or 18650 or two 18350s stacked. The 18650 lasts a long time though :-)

It will take just the one 18650 battery, unless you "telescope" it down to 18350 size.
Today, as a first, I tried my Vamo with 18350, it's cute but won't last long!!
Use it either way, and make sure you keep the other 18650 charged if you have no spares. I rotate 3 x 18650s on my SID. 3 seems to suit me, as I charge 2 every weekend.

Are they 3.7v too? Or is 3.7v the max the thing takes? The svd takes 18mm diameter non-protected lithium batteries, either 18350, 18500 or 18650 all of which are nominally 3.7 volt batteries. The numerical designation of these batteries is 18 = diameter of the battery in mm 35 or 50 or 65 = length of the battery in mm 0 at the end means that the battery has a round profile

It says it can take two 18350's in the instructions, it tells you how to reset it so it can use two instead of one because some info is stored on the circuit board but needs to be cleared first. I should have actually read them a bit better first before posting come to think of it Tell you what though, I really don't think much of vanilla custard, it tastes like burnt custard cream biscuits! It's taken a lot to get that smell out of my nose lol. Anyway thanks for the replies people.

As you probably know the SVD can be operated as either variable voltage (VV), or variable wattage (VW). If you choose the latter mode you can reduce the wattage and maybe reduce the burnt taste perhaps.

I still wouldn't take the risk of stacking 2 batteries and with VV and VW there really isn't any need to take the chance

BUT I have a mod here especially for 2 stacked 18350's, If you put in ONE freshly charged 18650 & try use it you get Lo for low power.

Yes, there was a mod that was for 2 stacked batteries, there were a couple of threads on here about people getting a much warmer vape than they'd bargained for
