I know I'm going to be hung out to dry for this... but IMO this is truly a show for a show's sake, anything to fill a slot. Thought I'd watch the final, nothing else on anyway on this crap TV. Have managed 45mins, can't stand it any longer. Judges are so much up their ****, the two acts are OK for a local gig, but not Saturday night national viewing. If I said what I really think about NS... I'd probably get a knock on the door.

Sorry to all you fans, if you enjoy it then fill your boots, but absolutely not for me. Let flames commence.

It's all about the Telly. That's it. Any logic or sense to it (other than making TV) went out the window years ago. It sells, it makes money, almost everybody wins.

I watch both the UK and the USA Xfactor, I love to see new talent being given the chance to make it. OK they've found a way to make a lot of money through public voting, but every business is about making money, now more than ever.

3 or 4 people will make a great career out of their talent, who otherwise would most probably never have had the chance. Sam Bailey would never have made it without something like this show to showcase her, she's got the most amazing talent, what a waste had she not entered.

I can take it or leave it really Raffles . . . Strictly or I'm a Celeb are more my thing. Although I do enjoy American Idol.


Though I have it on as there's only so many CSI repeats my head can take.

I agree Sam has a very good voice, is pretty etc, but will we still hear from her a year from now. Cowell & Co will take their tawdry bucks on an immediate killing, and she will be cast aside like so many others. Some, with a strong character, will survive and make a decent living, through their own strength.

I think it is the judges that really get to me... they really do make me want to ****!

I hate ads and bought a PVR ten odd years ago. Have a few hundred hours of stuff recorded (currently deleting stuff from 2012 I couldn't be bothered to watch) and haven't watched live TV or an ad since.
I did stay with some friends when I first moved here who watched all the celeb type shows, but since then I've managed to regain my sanity.

I have to admit the car crash TV of the first few audition weeks makes me howl. People say you should feel sorry for them but they know exactly what they're doing. Making a holy show of themselves for their 15 mins (okay two minutes) of fame.

Some of the contestants come across really well and I can't help but feel glad they're getting a chance to showcase themselves.

Like was my favorite from the very start, he shouldve won without a doubt! I voted for him, and usually I never vote. Was gutted he didnt win
