There's more to come Super-Shiny - it quietened down for a couple of hours this afternoon, but the wind and rain are ratchetting up again now; it's going to be a stormy night. Tucked up in front of the TV with some RA and a glass of shiraz - perfect!

Raffles I'm not going far tomorrow apart from visiting my wee Granddaughter. Among the rain and wind we're to get some snow too, seasonal I suppose

I forgot to say in my earlier post, before the rain hit here today we had black ice and one of the gritting lorries went off the road At least the rain made the roads and pavements slightly safer
