Hi all, I was here early 2012 when I started vaping and did fine for 2 months without any ciggies until I was diagnosed with bone cancer when it all went very wrong.I had the tumour removed and am now in remission, next check up in Feb.

I need to stop smoking now as it looks like my poor old Mum has terminal lung cancer...we will find out for definite Jan 8th, there is a delay in her appointment due to Xmas and New year,I am so so worried about her, also I found out last year that my father who I hadnt seen since I was 3 died from lung cancer so I really need to do this.It will also make my Mum very happy if I stop.

I was going to stop New Years day but decided there was no point in dithering so Have started my vaping today....I loved being a part of this community before and am looking forward to being part of it again.

Pleased to hear you're in remission but sorry to hear about your parents. Cancer is a horrid thing and there just seems to be so much of it around at the moment

What kit are you using? There has been loads of advances in the last couple of years so if you fancy an upgrade we'll help you splash the cash

Thank you all so much for your welcome..it means a lot. Im using a riva which was all the rage when I started last year....what is the rage now..something simple and powerful would be good with a long battery life...i look forward to your recommendations! Also Im a bit of a menthol freak, at the moment am using arctic cherry from vape escape, any other suggestions??

Good to hear you are on the mend, and there's no time like the present to get back into vaping, I agree, just give it your best shot! My favourite part is also is 'vaping in bed!'

I'd second Karma's spinner recommendation. The rainbow spinner is so pretty :-) I use either an iClear 16 or a mini protank on top

Hi jacci and welcome back . Glad you are recovering and sorry to hear about your mum , I hate cancer with a passion , it's blighted 2 of my dear family this year and like you the Xmas hols are delaying results and treatment
