The funeral went very well, if Mum could have been there she would have loved it tbh. I must admit I think my grief is kicking in now...I do miss her and of course it is Mothers day tomorrow which doesnt make it any easier but Im sure my 2 sons have some nice plans for me tomorrow!
I cannot believe I am still vaping away but I am and am starting to lose a little bit of weight now as well.
I have just received some new flavours from tjuice and Minty the toff may now become my favourite flavour, it is fab!

It is Mums funeral on Monday...would you believe we have had to wait 4 weeks but I am still vaping away!

My poor ma died on Monday, it really was a release for her but obviously horrid for me. Her legacy to me is to finally give me the motivation to keep vaping and stay off the fags.
Make sure you tell your loved ones you love them when you have the chance, I told my mum that before I left her for the last time and she was so mentally confused she just said Well I dont know about that, but Im sure in her heart she did.

That is exactly what I did Karma, not back now till next weds, Mum has gone into a hospice, absolutely wonderful place, the staff are absolutely second to none. The great thing is I can now go back to being a daughter as opposed to an exhausted carer. It is a massive weight off my mind...vaping still going well too.

Havent been on here for a while as have been staying with Ma, she came out of hospital on 24th Jan and has gone so downhill, she is now ready to go into nursing home. Very very poorly, very aggressive lung cancer and the prognosis is weeks/short months....wish I knew what short months meant. Mum doesnt know the prognosis, I felt that was best.I asked work for compassionate leave which in the handbook is death/serious illness of immediate family member and work advised me she isnt ill enough so I couldnt have it. Im very cross as I have been there 10 years, never have time off sick, even when I had cancer I came back early!! Anyway they said I could have it unpaid or holiday but the Macmillan nurse told me to have it sick and self certify for the week and then my gp will sign me off after that if need be and that is what Im doing. Im back tomorrow but wont be of any use to them whatsoever as I cant stop crying for long so we will see how it goes.
On the plus side I am still vaping and havent had a fag!

Well 3 weeks today and the vaping/no smoking is going really really well!! I have a meeting with Mums Consultant today, not looking forward to that but at least I will know exactly what is what afterwards.

Well got Mums diagnosis today, definitely cancer, she has gone so so downhill in the last two weeks they believe they cannot treat her at all.....life is a b***ch, what do I say to her when I see her tonight.....how do I tell my children....just horrid.

Karma, I think this whole thing has really frightened me, she is in a lot of pain and yesterday said she would rather be dead than go through this pain. She is also so happy that I have stopped bless her.
Its also giving me something else to think about iykwim, its just a shame that my sweet tooth has kicked in but one thing at a time I suppose...xx

Hi all. well I am still vaping away. Poor Ma is still in hospital really not well at all. First bronchoscopy was inconclusive so she was transferred to another hospital for a test under general anaesthetic,hopefully we will find out in a week or so.
Good news is I can honestly say Ive had no cravings at all!

Hi just to say Im loving my MVP 2 and my Red Astaire ...both wonderful. Still havent had a diagnosis for my poor Ma, she is back in hospital with a collapsed lung now, first bronchoscopy was inconclusive so second one being done tomorrow, hopefully results on 15/1. Considering they seem fairly sure she has stage 4 lung cancer this has been going on since Sept 23rd...dont understand all this at all.

I foolishly went back on them when I was diagnosed with bone cancer, Im in remission now and all should be fine according to my Consultant...this time is very different I have had no cravings at all.

Poor old Ma is still in hospital, they are going to do more tests, they still havent drained her lung and she is on oxygen 24/7. On the plus side my mvp2 came today and it is really fab!
