From 2016 e-cigarettes will be classed as medicines by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), which means they will undergo rigorous tests.

Did I miss something? when did parliament pass that law?
I thought our wonderful government was against regulation but had agreed to follow the EU decision, if and when they make one.

The BBC wrongly quoted the Med Regs in 2016 recently,  so everyone now believes it to be true

A very well written smokers life story in a nutshell. I just love "it's hard to be seductive on a date with the smoking equivalent of a dildo in one's hand." I know we must all feel like that at times! I still feel guilty embarrassed for dragging on an e-cig in public places, especially if its one of my larger mods. The stares that you get from people, you can virtually read their minds, Whats he doing smoking here. I even feel this when in the open spaces. More education is needed, yet I think that you will still get people who will be against e-cigs, they just don't like people enjoying something they cant.

Thought I'd heard it before, the MHRA think that if they say it enough times it will be law without any input from parliament a bit like that twitterbomb they tried last year

Went to the pub with my brother over Christmas and vaped in the smoking area, whilst he had a fag. Told him all about how I'd given up smoking and the benefits of vaping, without being to preachy or pushy. He emailed me yesterday saying that he wanted to try ecigs and what would I would recomend. We both read The Guardian, so I definately think the follow up with the article there did the trick. There was a day of action on Friday, so well done to all those who turned up to talk to the media. Seems the message will get through and MT2103 and his ilk will ultimately look very foolish.
