Dee had exactly the same with the Aftershock Nicky, as Lilac says . . . she had been using it for some time like you . . . then whoosh, got this nasty reaction to it.

Well i've just filled a new carto Perpy, so i'll leave it for tonight (off to get ready for work in a min) so i'll try again in the morning.

This may be a silly question, Nicky, but do you shake the bottle, before you use it. If not the cinnamon oil may have settled to the bottom of the bottle.

Seems like there are known allergies to Cinnamon Nicky.

hmmm....i'm just thinking of something i read a while back....think it was on the Flavourarts site...

that it's not a good idea to be inhaling oil based substances...

it's probably only a very small amount of oil to get the flavour, as it's so strong, but i know back when i had the chest tightness/discomfort, it was after i'd tried the Aftershock, i was the same with another cinnamon juice i had too, so i've never used it since then..

Well have tried the new carto i filled last night and it seems ok this morning, no burning, tastes nice etc so i'm off to work after with only that and no nasties!!!!

Sorry I let you suffer all night before seeing this

You need to stop using the cinnamon if you are getting any burnt lips or ulcers or anything like that.

It's a common problem and affects many people, just a reaction to cinnamon.

Hope you didn't suffer too much
