An old problem re-surfaced - leaping page

When clicking the page forward or page back number button on the bottom, the next page starts at the bottom. This was happening months ago, then stopped, and I don't recall me doing anything to sort it at my end. Is it a forum bug?

Happens to me all the time, figured it was just a quirk of the software and left it. I'm running win 7 x64 and mozilla firefox if that makes any odds.

Fine for me, no issues at all farzooks . . . using Firefox myself as well enjay.

It was like that 4 me b4 xmas but seems 2 have stopped now

The usual cause for this happening is if you are using an ad blocker - which is against Proboards TOS.

Could be that - I'd blocked out the fireworks crap at New Year, probably included something else.

Very annoying and intrusive, to put not too fine a point on it.
Such things are fine if they can be switched off after a while, so that's just what I did - using a virtual crowbar.

Works fine for me most of the time wether i use the links at the top or bottom. Sometimes I do get it happen though.

I am using adblock in Safari, not specifically to get rid of ads here but but to get rid of them in general everywhere. I feel that they encroach too much on my internet experience. TOS or not, I'll continue to use it

Sorry a1laserboy But to conform to Proboards TOS, I have to again say it is against their TOS to use an ad blocker while viewing any proboards forums.

Chrissie Yes, you already said that in reply number 4. I will see if I can figure out how to allow ads here. After all, I was served up some choice porn ads previously by proboards, can't wait to get them again.

I found them too heavily applied and made the pages unreadable. A few, shooting up the sides, for a couple of minutes would have been ok. Importantly, with an off button.

The sparkles didn't bother me so much, enjoyed the challenge of trying to read the writing and the psychedelic aspect reminded me of days gone by lol
