hmm, interesting seeing the itaste vv with a pen topper and the square iclear10's ... I have seen the iclears before and liked the look of them and would be tempted to try one on one of my batteries - but I've not seen the pen top lids sold separately which I'd want if I was paying out for square iclears As I've already got two itaste vv's - I couldn't warrant buying another though! But you don't have all the colours....yet.

Is it here yet? Just thought I'd add, it probably comes with a factory charge so you should be able to try it straight away or you can use it in "pass-though" mode and charge it while you vape.

I began with a standard Ego kit then progressed to a itaste vv3. My next upgrade will be an mvp v2 for its battery life. My favourite tank is the Aspire bdc although I still use the iclear 16s. Have fun experimenting

Thanks jackym - I plan to go for the VV3 as backup - heard good things about it here! With my massive experience of a couple of hours, can recommend the MVP2 Hi Karma - Yep I am a happy bunny! Thanks for the tip about the charging light - think it was mentioned somewhere on the forum here - so I remembered it when it became relevant ... that doesn't happen much these days

I just remember when I bought my first one and couldn't find in the instructions if the light should be off or on when fully charged. So I remembered something too today

xs2man - just wanted to say thank you - your liquids arrived in the post today (that sounds wrong somehow...!) - I should be getting my new vv3 kit tomorrow; the 5 new tanks will be used for glorious tasting My wife said she really loved the smell of the Amaretto - however as she neither smokes or vapes she will have to make do with sniffing the bottle lol. Thank you kindly!

No worries, glad they can be of use to someone.
How are you getting on with the gear? Have you got a preference between the Protank and the iClear? Or just enjoying being smoke free for now?

Am enjoying the mvp2 (still running on the charge up from Friday) - unfortunately the new vv3 didn't turn up today At the mo the iclear is a little ahead of the protank - but I don't think I'm yet seasoned enough to really tell! Sadly I'm not smoke free yet - but have cut the rollups down to about half I think. Went a bit low on the nicotine (12mg) on my first juice (and t-juice samples) - was wary of taking in more than I usually do. However the bottles you kindly sent include an 18mg and a 24mg - so I will be able to give those a test and see how I go. Hopefully the new kit will turn up tomorrow - am intending to load up about 5 tobacco flavours in the tanks and have a proper comparison....

Hello & dhansak - begs the question, Lamb, Chicken or Vegetarian ??? I digress, You've had LOADS of good advice above the only thing I'll add is don't go too low on nicotine strength initially. The first thing you need to do is find something that satisfies you enough to keep you off of the stinkies. So I'd say get some 24mg at least, and maybe one at 18mg. This will help with any cravings. You can reduce your nicotine content later. Flavour is more difficult, many start with tobacco analogues and move away after some time, so get a selection. Keep an eye out in the classified section for some bargains and if you can get yourself along to a Vape-meet. I cannot recall one Vape Meet where I've not come away with some juice to try Good luck and don't be afraid to ask any questions.

When I started I did so on 36mg/ml. That worked for me, although now I find it a little harsh, and not as flavoursome.
Still, surely better to go strong at the start to get you right off the tobacca, your body wont let you over nic afterall. But the 36 does really help here, and you can always bring it down later.
However, you do have 18 and 24 there, so go for the 24 and see how you get on. I would probably always recommend starting at 24 initially, you can always work down later once you have the hang of it. Better to start strong and get off the cancer sticks first, then worry about reducing the much less harmful nicotine.

I do actually think that the mini protank 2 v2 with a standard EVOD battery is a very good starter kit, and you might not even need to get anything better once you learn how to recoil the protank heads with cotton and get them at the right resistance. If you get the EVOD with regulated 3.7v and use a 1.9-2ohm coil you should get about 7w which will work with most flavours.
