Hello Dunny - I'd say vamo, although loads of people like the SVD it wasn't for me. If you are truthful with yourself, will you be wanting to upgrade again after a few months, maybe to mech? If so get a cheap option like the V2 and spend your money on good batteries and a charger, so you will be well set up for future purchases. Tank-wise, I love the iclear 30s but it does guzzle the juice. It's not rebuildable, so it depends if that's important to you, but the coils last a long while.

Dunny - hi and a warm welcome! For my money, a Vamo and Protanks. The Vamo is Variable Voltage and Variable Wattage, it shows the battery charge left, the ohm rating of the coil and is durable with a good menu system. Also, they can be had for a good price here in the UK, or cheaper still if you are prepared to wait a few weeks from China. Protanks - solid stainless steel, glass tank so whilst brittle if you drop them on a stone floor, now worries with tank-cracker juice like Pineapple, Cinnamon etc, heads are cheap to replace, and easiest tank to learn how to recoil for a few pence each time. That concludes the voting from the Cornish jury . . .

Hi @dunny and to the forum I have an MVP2, an SVD and a Sigelei Zmax mini. I love all 3, but the zmax is my favourite. The SVD is more practical as it takes 18650's, the zmax only takes 18350's but IIRC you can get 18650 tubes for it. The MVP is a workhorse and lasts for a coupke of days between charges if you need it to. Out and about I use mini protanks on a vision spinner. I mainly use iClear 30s's and Aspire BDC's on the big boys and would recommend either or both

Hello and welcome Dunny If you would prefer a tubular upgrade then Vamo, SID or SVD are good devices. If you want something smaller but still variable wattage then an itaste V3 (VV-VW) is a good option but its battery will not last as long as an 18650 or an MVP. The advantage of it is that you will not need to buy any extra batteries or charges and can use it in pass-through mode with the provided lead connected to a USB port. It's best to watch some videos of the ones you have in mind as they all have advantages and disadvantages and only you know what features are important to you. Ask questions of the models you have chosen too. We are quite a knowledgeable bunch where gear is concerned.

Welcome to you Dunny. Try not to get too bogged down with all the choices that are available to us now, would be my advice. Although it's easier said than done. There does comes a point when you just have to go with what appeals to you and your budget, buy it and then take it from there. Good luck.

Hi Dunny and to aae-c. All good advice and once you decide which one you're going for, you'll get great help talking you through it too.

Wottcha Dunny. I too was a forum virgin eleven short days ago. I opted for the itaste V3, after much deliberation, it's funkylicious. The lovely folk of AAEC certainly know their stuff and won't steer you wrong. Enjoy!
