Firstly hello! Im on day 5 of vaping and havent touched a "stinkie" in that time (not bad for the first time trying to give up a 20 a day roll up habit) Ive have been reading up and now feel some what confused , over loaded and muddled with everything to do with vaping , who knew what a big world vaping is! So Im using a eGo Ce4 (from what ive been reading this isnt a good choice?) I have a 650 battery section (sorry not there with all the techie stuff!) and have a 900 one being posted out to me . I also have some more eliquids on order , my choice is 18mg nicotine , as my partner is using 0mg nic and i find there is no throat hit at all ? and I like the fact i get that TH . My question is , now that i have got my head around the fact that an ecig isnt or wont ever be quite the same as an analogue , its saving me money and saving hopefully my life as i believe i wouldnt have got this far without an ecig , what is a better tool to use ? Im confused on tanks , attys , batterys *head spinning already** Ideally i want something i dont have to mess with wicks , etc . Im happy to buy tanks and replace them for complete new ones ? Is this even possible ? can i even clean a tank out for example if i want a totally different flavour ? Sorry for the overload , there is just so much i dont understand (voltage , wattage , ohms...) but i definately want to continue this journey and am trying not to be put off by the overwhleming amount i have read so far Thanks Law

A warm welcome and congratulations to you both law. I'd suggest getting an Evod and an Iclear16 to try out. The Iclear is a top coil and the Evod a bottom coil . . . both will be compatible with your batteries and both have replaceable heads, making them quite cost effective. Especially the Iclear16 - that way you can find out what type of vape they give and which you prefer. Myepack is probably a good site to have a browse on for both of those: myepack.co.uk/Personally I can't be doing with the faff of washing out clearo's between flavour changes, so vape quite happily through them.

Haha another confused newbie, dont worry weve all been there and I in fact still am a newbie. Youve came to tne right place for help and advice I dont think youd find a friendlier more helpfull forum than this. congrats on making the switch to vaping. The egos and ce4s are ok for a starter. Once you get bored of those after see all the shinies on here getting jealous as I did you best bestmis to go for a ego style twist battery these are variable voltage meaning you can pass more or less power through your clearomiser to suit your vaping style. I skipped this step and purchased a mod, which is basically a metal tube ypu put batteries in and a clearmiser on top. You get mechanical mods which I beleive are fixed voltage, and then there are vv/vw mods meaning variable voltage and variable wattage thats all I can share at the moment, if I have anything wrong im sure someone will correct me. Steve

Yep, your current batteries will be compatible with the new screwy on bits Law. Top coil means your eliquid vaporizes at the the top of the clearo, which is where the heating element is situated, bottom coil the reverse. A top coil gives a warmer vape, with more kick . . . bottom coils are softer, the vapour caresses your throat rather more. And yes, I just wack a new flavour in - I clean as little as possible in my life. ah see i need the hit for it to satisfy me or give me the illusion of a real stinky . i dont have the link as the other half just searched through on ebay , they look like those in the pic on the site you suggested myepack.co.uk/clearomizers/iclear-16.html . Having had a mooch , i dont like the idea of having batteries inside a tube , i like the idea of an all in one for now (although as steve suggested , too much nice shiny stuff on here and i will be like a magpie and begin collecting no doubt ) Just want to make what i have now better i think ?

Hi Law Welcome to Vaping. There is so much kit out there it's hard to decide. I'm coming up to a year Vaping - Feb 1st. I started with a Riva 1100 kit and CE5 clearos which are top wick. Then i got a Vision spinner - same as an Ego Twist - thats the battery - variable voltage so you can change it for TH After that I must admit I have gone for the Evod type clearos which is bottom wick, much easier to clean or if you can't be bothered just change the wick bit. I'm sure there are people with nuch more info if you have a look around on the forum. Good Luck

I suspect the other half ordered something like this after reading it was compatible with the ce4 so maybe not at all like the iclear ones . I have 5 flavours on order so wanted to fill 5 tanks up and have them all ready to swap and change

law you dont need to worry about changing wicks or making coils just yet. the wicks and coils for iclears and evods are replaceable the just screw out and screw new one in the middle part on this iclear 16 is the head, that contains the wicks and coils ready made also what youve got there on ebay are generic ce4 clearomisers not Iclears, I know they look the same lol
