I know this is going to ruffle a few fathers on here and I do apologise in advance as I live vaping and hate it when we all get judged when vaping from ither people
I have been vaping for around 10 minths now and I am sick to death of worrying if I can vape some where and if I do will I get moaned at
So I had enough of people moaning and stupid programs I dug out my spinner charged it up went to vape eacape get my self a mini pro tank 2 and some eluquid on friday
I was armed and ready so I left all my mods at home and went out. I have caoed everywhere I have been this weekend in pubs shopping centres asda and even in marks and spencers anf not one person has said one thing to me
What I did notice when people seen me vaping they just looked and smiled and one ecen pulled a kayfun out on a evic and vaped away
So do you think times have changed? And vaping is not a bad thing anymore in sime people's eyes

I can only hope so. Vaping is definitely the future and maybe and hopefully more and more pubs will allow it. A lot of pubs have closed due to the smoking ban - so lets keep fingers crossed that some can open agian. I also think that on airports they should have at least vaping corners, if they don't allow it generally. Because I certainly would not like to go into a smoking cubicle. On the other side unfortunately they also start banning e-cigs. In airplanes they now announce that this is a 'non smoking flight ( what else is new? ) and this includes e-cigs. I think there is still a lot of explanation needed to those who are non smokers - never have smoked - and don't know about the e-ciggies. Lets do it

Not sure I would want to try it my own policy is vape where smoking is allowed. Not in shops but outside them yes I haven't been approached by anyone objecting so maybe it is changing slightly now. Oh I only use an itaste v3 and mini protank so they don't look like the dreaded ciggies. I must say not having been able to see any of the more advanced kits in the flesh so to speak I find them quite strange not wrong or anything just strange. I haven't seen anyone else in my area vaping at all in fact without this forum I wouldn't know anything about vaping at all

I don't vape in shops, & there's a list of other things, like no kids within 3 ft, nobody eating within 3 ft & so on. Pretty much like when I smoked, before the no pubs/restaurants rule. babs - pity not to ever see anyone else or see the bigger stuff in action - could you make it to a London or Reading vape meet?

Thanks for the invite Giles but I don't drive and find going out at all stressful but I'm very happy to be a part of this forum.

I think the ego battery plus clearo is becoming very common and people now recognise it as an e-cig. Up until about a year or so ago, I would use a cig-a-like in certain situations as the p*ss taking and general misunderstanding about what I was doing was starting to annoy me. I'm starting to kind of miss the novelty value now when out and about so quite often take an MVP or my iClear 1 with me. I certainly wouldn't take the iClear 2 and the Provari stays at home as I'm a bit clumsy and have broken/lost a couple of batteries in the past oh and the VTR just isn't pocket friendly

I generally vape in line with the smoking in public places ban. Much less hassle. Had a lovely chat with a lady who must have been 80. She was wondering what my MVP and iclear 30 set up was, she uses elites. First time someone has actually talked to me about it

I know some will disagree with me but I really don't think its a good idea to vape inside shops or restaurants etc. the way I see it is even if nobody says anything about it you can bet right down to your last pound that someone is raging inside and planning on complaining. Especially so if there are kids around. A few complaints about this kind of situation will no doubt lead to either owners of places banning vaping or vaping being included in the smoking ban regulations leading to vape friendly venues having no choice but stopping people vaping altogether. I do vape in pubs when I can and really enjoy being able to do that. I hope that doesn't change.

I agree with you Erik specially in shops but also in restaurants - however I really do enjoy that I can vape in our local pub and hope for more vape friendly pubs

Personally I think that more people are aware of vaping now. I regularly see people vaping in the street or in shopping centres so it's not such a shock now

Me, I'll vape where I see fit - either full-on or stealth! That includes when I'm donating platelets (blood) at the main transfusion centre - with the consent of the chief nurse! If someone asks me to stop, and its reasonable to ask me to, I'll stop, or go stealth. We shouldn't pander to the ANTZ, but on the flip side, should not create a rod for our own backs. At the end of the day, there is ALWAYS a toilet cubicle wherever we go.

I must admit I'll respect others rather than annoy them just for the sake of a vape. I'm quite happy to go to a smoker's den if that's what I need to do so that I can vape in peace without getting funny looks or snide comments. I do agree with Erik above when he says that just because we can vape, we should vape. As he quite rightly points out, it might end up going against us with vaping indoors being alienated altogether. If I follow the smoking regulations, I at least know that I'm not offending anyone so no one can complain to management or get arsey with me. I could always bop them with my Vamo of course!

I generally won't vape inside a lot of places like shops because really, you're not in there for all that long, soon you'll be back outside where no-one could complain unless you are directly upwind of someone eating a pasty or kids. (not eating the kids of course, they are a bit chewy). If I go to a pub that won't allow vaping I'll just go somewhere else. If they do I still semi stealth, people tent to look when you start blowing clouds.
I collected my son from his school recently, all the parents have to wait in the playground until they let the kids out. I won't vape while waiting even though it's outside. Once my son came out, I had a vape when we got out of the gates and i heard a little voice say 'what's that smell daddy?' - i looked around and a guy had his little girl on his shoulders and was directly downwind. I felt so ashamed that I'd done it. He didn't say anything, maybe because the look of horror on my face was enough for him.

what are you vaping @allaserboy ? I vape at home and asked my husband, who is a nonsmoker for many years. He assured me that only occasionally he can very faintly and only for a few seconds smell something. I guess I belong to the boring type though I only smoke viginia - one pure virginia and one mixed with a bit of menthol ps how do you make the name of another member green ? - thanks - it worked once with the @ - but now it does not
