Ok, so I am looking to get into rebuildable atomizers as fed up of buying coils.
What would you recommend as a good starter please?
Thanks in advance!

I've had a number of rebuildables (both genesis type and silica) over the last year. The easiest (and by far the most fiddle-free) has been the GP Spheroid which I would recommend to anybody. The Kayfun is also quite simple (and cheaper Kayfun clones are available). The Spheroid is a very simple, basic device - but it produces a fabulous vape! Unfortunately it costs nearly £80

Evods, protanks, CE5s can all be rebuilt quite easily. Evods & protanks taste better with cotton wick anyway (I think) Would cost next to nothing to experiment with your old heads and see if rebuilding is for you, before wheeling out on an expensive atty?

If you want something with a tank you can't go wrong with a kayfun or if dripping sounds like your thing an IGO is also really good. You can use silica or cotton in both and build them using different methods so are both fairly simple and straightforward. It does take a little bit of patience at first but once you work out what's easiest for you it's not difficult to do and in my opinion both the kayfun and IGO give a much better vape than premade coils.

Just got a kayfun light clone from hightectrading, dead easy to rebuild and best taste so far for me. Only £25 and free delivery. Unfortunately out of stock now but Steve tells me he has 50 on order and hopes they'll arrive by the end of the week. www.hightectrading.com/kayfun-russian-91-clone-1589-p.asp

Like the man says, You can get innexpensive RBA's as clones but be prepared for a massive price hike if you go for genuine...Much better to master your coiling skills before you lay out a large wad of wonga on something you may not get along with icon_shoppingm

Best £25 I have spent on vaping. Like you, I had never tried rebuildables, but so glad I did. Thanks for the heads up on the restocking Greg. I will keep an eye out as I want to get a couple more.

Thanks guys! I think I may have a go at recoiling some of the protank heads that I have here to see whether I can handle it lol! Wise move, once you get comfortable with them then maybe look at something more challenging, they are dead easy as long as you stick to the guide down to the last detail. Main thing is don't start something if you don't have all and the correct tools to do it or it will just make matters worse and you will get frustrated. Get all tools required (if possible all the tools from the guide or as close as possible) and you will breeze through it.

Do make sure you get the right tools, my first attempt using a toothpick was a fail lol. Would still like some better tweezers, mine are angled rather than being flat which makes it more of a struggle squeezeing coils.

Well unlike you I'm not wise and just dive straight in, had my first proper mod within a week or so and have now bought a rebuildable thing, don't even know the correct term ha ha. Anyway how wrong can it go? All the various helpful people on here, threads, youtube vids etc
I would say dive in and enjoy, you can check out plenty of reviews all over the place on every rebuildable you can think of.
