Hi all, It's a very simple question so I appologise in advance for taking up board space and for not finding the answer using the first function that I seem unable to use.
When FT state dispatched in x amount of days, in my case 3, how accurate is that ?
Fasttech quote:
"Ships in X days: usually displayed on customized products that cannot be shipped right away but can be shipped in "X" number of days. The X is replaced by an actual number on product pages."
Also what is the reason behind not being able to ship for x amount of days, do they not actually have possession of the stock ?
I know I'm fussing but I've only ever had one experience with fasttech and that was a bad one. My items never arrived, I did however get a refund albeit after 8 weeks of them having my money and getting the same reply just reworded to my e-mails.

They don't have it and you'll have to hang tight until they get it. Sometimes it happens in 'x' days as they've stated, other times you'll be waiting a while. It's a coin flip really. I've got an order that is being held back due to two items expected to be in stock by 11 Feb. If it actually ships out within a few days of that, I'll be amazed.

I got frustrated quickly after something was in stock one day, then I ordered and it said 5 days... then said 7 days! When the penny dropped that really they didn't have it and were not sure when they would, I bought elsewhere. Will try again though, and they have something in stock at the mo which I might buy.

Does anyone know when FT quote an ETA is that estimating delivery to the customer or is that when they expect the item in stock?

Remember, while you're waiting for FT to ship your goods you're cutting into your 45 day PP dispute time I keep a close eye on that and open a ticket if shipping is delayed more than two weeks. Usually give them another 48 hours after opening the ticket and then request a refund of any items which haven't been stocked yet so they can ship out what they do have.

Seems a lot of there stuff is delayed at the moment They've just had their Chinese New Year though . . . it always takes several weeks to get back to ' normal ' after that. There's no point ordering anything from Fasttech if you're on a time scale . . . order, then keep a check on PayPal's deadline.

Since FT returned from their holidays as my orders have got to the scheduled ship date and then they have all gone to restocking When ordering from any of our Chinese suppliers you have to be very patient, but as Perpetua and Karma have stated keep an eye on dates so you meet PayPal deadline. Griff

Chinese New Year really can muck things up for a good few weeks unfortunately, it's always been the same ever since I've ordered from there Griff. There's a couple of bits in my cart, but I'll probably leave them til the end of February now before buying . . . .

I've got 10 items on order, 9 are ready to ship but one item has now gone into "restocking" mode. I placed the order whilst they were on their hols 29 Jan, not sure what to do now, whether to hold on a few days or cancel that item. Thing is the item is a display stand which I need to be able to put my 5 iclear 30s in so I can stand them up with juice in, 3 of these iclears are ready to ship, I already have 2 of them. I'm not in a hurry for any of the items so wasn't concerned about the restocking thingy but I hadn't thought about the 45 day paypal dispute time
