Ho All
My new Vamo v2 just arrived today and there are few things i would like to ask about general use of it.
I usually vape my favourite juice RY4 on either my evod or on my itaste v3.0 set at 7.5 watts. However, on the Vamo at this setting the vape is too warm and there is a slightly burnt taste. Even at 6.0 watts I get this brunt taste, and even the mouth piece gets warm.
I am using a SenyBor 3100 protected battey and am wondering if this has something to do with it ? I know most people say to use unprotected batteries, but I have loads of these SennyBor's and others have said they use them no problem, there have plenty of current for a Vamo.
Or is it just the case that I may find that on different devices I have to use different wattages to get the sweetspot ?

Yes, the power is produced/measured slightly differently across devices, and they also ramp up differently.
Which atty are you using? An iClear one? Surprised you were not getting a hot mouthpiece in the first place...

Have RY4 in both an iclear and a Vivi Nova, tried both. Now you mention it, it is only the iclear where the mouthpiece gets warm, but the burnt taste is even worse in the Vivi Nova

Wow, too warm at 6watts? I've got mine ramped up to 12watts in 18350 mode with my rhubarb and custard and yes it gets warm, but the vape is beautiful. How old are the coils in your atty?

I have a broken Vamo in which it doesn't matter what Wattage you set it to, it burns everything.
You could try switching it to Volts, and put that right down to 3V, my broken one still burns everything even on that (which is just impossible if it really was 3V).

changed coils to new ones and still the same it is set to No2 the RMS mode What's it actually vaping like? It's got me a bit stumped that it's tasting burnt at 6watts, the only time I get that is when my coils are shot, but if you've changed them it's obviously not that. hmmm hope you get it sorted mate.

Evod is a standard Li-Ion battery, therefore will be between 3.7V and 4.2V fully charged.
If the Vamo is burning the liquid when set at below this voltage then the Vamo is bad and you should send it back.

jb44 I think your problem may be caused by using a protected battery in a regulated mod. The protection chip on the battery can play merry hell with the electronic chip of the vamo. I would recommend using either an IMR safe chemistry battery such as AW or Efest or at least an unprotected ICR battery but NEVER use a protected battery in a regulated mod or a mechanical mod fitted with a kick.

Thought I would update.
The strangest thing happened. After trying all my clearos, changing coils, even bought two new clearos to try, changing batteries, and still getting a burnt taste at low wattage, got up this morning and the Vamo is vaping perfectly, and on all clearos. Dont know how or why.
I had contacted the vendor, they replied that they were sending me out a new Vamo and a pre-paid envelope to return the problematic one ( great customer service ) but I have cancelled that now as this one is working fine now.
