with all due respect - but I would need to know a bit more about a party before I vote for them - 'only' promoting vaping is not enough for me - and as much as I love vaping and am totally into it - I am afraid a party with that name would address far too few people to make it

I'd vote for them unless I had someone from one of the main parties to vote for who had supported vaping. I wouldn't expect them to get in, but the vote would be noticed by the other parties and it might make them think.

I'd vote for them and I have made a contribution to the party funds on the UKVIP stickie link

Have you voted in previous European elections?

barrynorton - no I am not politically engaged - my only political engagement was about 30 years ago with a Tyrolean conservative party - yes I have voted - no I am no fan of the EU - though I know (nice) people personally, who work for the EU

What would 'making it' involve, from your point of view? Having a member of the European Parliament? Having that member join one of the European cross-state parties?
Beyond that national party affiliations actually have very little effect at the European level, in my opinion.
This time around we have some quite prominent single-issue parties.

with 'making it' I meant getting into a position where you can actually change something - nationally or internationally. I wish you all the very best of luck - and you might proof me wrong but in my opinion the name of your party will only address a few - yes many here in the forum but at the moment generally people have different and non vaping connected problems. I am pretty sure that the governments will soon find a way how to tax for example e-liquids with nicotin - I guess in Italy they do that already - and they will find ways to make money out of vapers - and although there might be 2 million vapers in the UK already - honestly I personally would not vote for a party, whose main agenda is vaping - but that's just me - and there are many here who think differently - so again all the best of luck
