What would you recommend. I need to get something better for my wife, still on Evod/mini protank and aspire 16 &bdc with spinners but just not cutting it anymore.
I'm looking for a decent tube style vw mod, not mech, and it must have a top firing switch like an Evod/spinner battery. Do all these mods need batteries like mech mods or are there any like a MVP battery.
Looking to add a kfl to whatever vw I get here, also no box mods.

How about an svd? That's what I'm using myself, you can use the 18350's or 18650's so you can have it long or short, two 18350's for higher setting etc. You can buy it on it's own or I got it as a kit with a nitecore charger and all.

Sigelei Zmax GregI have a mini one and even though I go through 18350s at a rate of knots, it's still my most used (over the SVD and MVP) So much so that I have added the telescopic version to my Fasttech basket 3 times (taken it out and put it back in... currently in!) even though I don't need it at all! Just fancy being able to stick an 18650 in it and forget about having to change it for a few hours! icon_shoppingm

Can't go wrong with a vamo either. Vv and vw, 18650 or 18350. Easy to use and works great

Tube type is the itaste vv/vw v3 it's the one I've been using for months innovapours.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=25&product_id=159 if you have a micro USB charger no need to buy another I use my kindle charger. The itaste lasts me all day and I have two they can be used while charging too as it's a pass thru. My set-up is the itaste vv/vw + protank mini and I'm very satisfied with it been using it about 5 months now

Are there any that take 18500s ? The Sigelei takes all 3 sizes Greg . . . 18350/18490(18500)/18650.

The svd will them them too, it's telescopic too and despite having to tube sizes I can fit two 18350's with the shorter tube no bother

I watched Todds review of the Sid, rattling switch, unlevel display. Was he just unlucky or is build quality generally poor ?
Oh and will a kfl fit ok on Sid or zmax or is there an ugly overhang !

I've bought 3 and haven't had any issues Greg, though unlevel displays are common in a number of these devices, personally it doesn't bother me as I don't look at the display especially . . . though between the SID and Sigelei, the Zmax is a better build quality imo.

Any 22mm mod is good with a kayfun. Todd was probably just unlucky I would think. Have a look for some other reviews and see if they are common faults
