Hello
Recently I've been seeing a lot of people both young and old going to supermarkets with those folding shopping trolleys, now these have mainly been used by the elderly in the past but it seems more young people are starting to use them now. To be honest I'm also starting to struggle carrying 3 bulging bags of shopping in each hand when out shopping in town and the supermarket and I was thinking that one of those trolleys would make life a whole lot easier...but I still have the feeling people will laugh and stare at me for pulling one around with me lol :\
Do you use one or think about using one, and would you be embarrassed about it?

I live in a small village now so don't bother with one, but when I was in my 20's and living in NYC I couldn't do without it. Definitely handy if you're walking and intend to hit more than one shop on your travels.

I lived in Venice and everybody is using one there - I would certainly go for it - don't need one because we go shopping with the car - just get yourself a trendy one - and most of all don't care what others think about it

I have a shopping trolley, 4 wheels and holds loads of shopping, couldn't do without it.I can do a weeks shop at the supermarket, veg from the outdoor market, collect/return my library books all in one trip. The only time I don't take it, is when I am in town clothes shopping and go to the Malls, feel a right Charlie pushing it around M&S or Debenhams all dolled up for my ladies lunch.

I use one at our holiday home, the tap waters crap so buy the 5 litre bottles from supermarket, rather be laughed at than struggle with 4 of those things.

They do nice trolleys now, not just those quare tartan ugly ones that grannys seem to have, I'd certainly get a funky one if I didn't have a car, no point wrenching your arms out of their sockets is there! I'd feel no shame with something like these

If I didn't have a car I would get one, would have to be funky though They certainly have gained in popularity and I can see why!

I don't have much use for one being in an electric wheelchair when we go out, but I am getting sick of Mr Dolly piling all the bags on the back of it so I might buy him one. Can't wait to see his face when he realises he's pulling it!

Most young people I've seen using them have the plain black ones but I have been looking online and you can get nice patterned and stylish ones. Its mainly tinned food and liquids that do my arms in when shopping, you can carry frozen food and veg in bags no problem but as soon as you start adding tins or bottles of milk/pop that's when the bags start ripping the flesh from your fingers. Its good to hear you guys have used them and would be willing to use them and don't think of them as granny trolleys lol. I want one of these lol

Your all missing the simple awnser, buy wine/beer/spirits, find comfertable corner on floor outside supermarket, empty contents of shopping into stomach, job done, nothing too heavy to carry and some people even leave me spare change whilst doing this. MP

Loving that one that converts from trolley to scooter - I would definitely get one of those, but we live 3 miles from the nearest supermarket and it's all uphill on the way home, so I think that even with my new-found post-smoking health and lung power even I would be struggling
