Sigelei zmax V2 V3 differences ?

Hi all, apart from the obvious that the V2 doesn't telescope and the grooves is there any difference in these 2 versions of the zmax. Are the internals the same and is the build quality as good in the 2 as it is in the 3.

As some people might be aware I'm mulling over a new vw mod and as I mostly use my current V3 in18650 this might fit the bill having smoother lines as theres no telescope gap so to speak.

I know the abilty to scope down to 18350 is a good idea but I really do find myself only using it in 18350 mode if I run out of charge on my 18650 batteries, so I've ordered more larger batteries.

A quick hunt on the interwebs suggests that you are the only person to ask this question, at least in the English language! Comparing specs, it does seem to be the same internal PCB so if you prefer the plain tubes, I guess the v2 is the way to go.

ionian so on the basis of same internals would I be safe to assume the V2 has the same oled screen ?

I've noticed the V2 is 122g as opposed to the V3's 105g. I wonder if Sigelei weighed them with batteries in and weighed the V3 in 18350 mode to be a little bit sneaky.

I have one of those also bought from fast tech and i use it everyday. It's a great mod for the money, it hasn't failed be yet.

Great mod and I love mine. I've still not pulled the trigger on the V2 as the weight bothers me. The V3 in 18650 is just about right. Now if the published weight for the V3 was in 18350 mode with battery inserted then I'm happy that the V2 will be a comparable weight in 18650 and not heavier as the descriptions may suggest. I haven't got the means to accurately weigh the V3 in different modes otherwise I'd have cleared this up for myself. If that makes sense lol.

V2 SS is very solid. Mine is a year old and going strong, I was surprised when it arrived by how nice it looks. Doesn't exactly answer your question but every little helps.

V2 is NON TELESCOPIC
V3 is TELESCOPIC - I've ordered this one to supplement my EHPR V3's

DiscoDes Thanks, I know the difference between the V2 and the V3 is the V3 is telescopic. I just wondered why the V2 weighs more according to the descriptions. I wondered if sigelei had been seneaky and weighed the V3 in 18350 mode with batteries and the V2 obviously in 185650 with batteries. Buyers would then see a lighter mod and maybe boost sales over the V2/
