just something too ask about not so fast tech

hello all

i have placed my first order with not so fast tech nd i got a shipping number so i can track it but all its been saying for ages is that i should come back in 24 hours for an update but its been like that for ages is that normal?

Very normal. Best to just forget about it now and look forward to a surprise when it turns up

Don't totally forget though, remember you've got 45 days for a PP dispute!

yea i will do but i paid the extra to see if it come faster and thought maybe it would just hope it dont get stopped this end and have to pay taxes thats what im worried about

www.17track.net/index_en.shtml try this tracking system it's usually the first to update only tracks to UK though then it's up to royal fail and that could be up to a week

with vapor break,once it hits UK soil RM tracking will pick it up,in all time i watched my vamo it was in limbo,looked on RM,found it had arrived and delivered next day .most stuff is ticked gift to avoid customs,think custom vat/import is £135 and above on value of goods,so if its only £50 quid they wont bother

Duty is not payable under £135. But VAT is anything over £15 and then there is the courier
hadling charge, which is a fixed price regardless of value. The courier charge is often the worst
part on lower value items.

Fasttech declare a low value on their orders so you shouldn't be charged anything. I've never heard of anyone in the UK being charged anything on their orders.

The best way with Fasttech is to go with normal(suggested) shipping and forget about it until 30 days then hassle them. The paid for shipping is a waste of money, you get the same tracking service.
Me and a friend raced two parcels that left China the same day. He paid express, I went standard airmail, mine arrived 6 days before his. We both received the same tracking info.
If I were you I'd check your tracking on Monday, if your expecting real time info it's going to be like watching paint dry. They are a law unto themselves.

Order and forget from Fasttech, otherwise you'll drive yourself scatty . . . if you can't do that, then it's probably best to avoid ordering from there. 

My order that I placed on the 14th Feb, shipped yesterday - it will arrive when it's here.

I just keep a note of the last date for a PP claim, in the event of the worst case scenario, which hopefully won't be necessary.

Are fastech good as in the stuff comes and works

Mostly yes Dragon some cheap clones aren't so hot some are great and orders normally come eventually but you pay via paypal so you are covered anyway. It's about 2 - 3 weeks delivery at the moment I think.

Their prices are great I've just ordered the vamo v5 for 20 quid
