I am sure this must have been discussed before but I have done a search here and cannot find anything......
Any idea how much you would need to vape in a day compared to smoking 30 cigarettes a day?

Thats a bit like asking how long is a piece of string! It depends very much on the user. - What brand of cigarettes? - a lot of difference between a Silk Cut and a Gitane
- How did they smoke? - lung inhale or just throat
- How do they vape?

I wouldn't even bother wondering . . . vape as much as you need to not smoke emmita.

linkWas this the thread you were looking for? I found this this when I was first looking at switching. There are so many variables as stated above it is really hard to do a direct comparison. For example, lifestyle, equipment, enjoyment of flavours, absorption rates and you can vape in places you couldn't or wouldn't smoke in.

Which probably exactly matches what many vapers find. Vaping is about a more constant intake (some people vape all the time) than mainline Nic in a huge rush and then waiting for the crash to do it again like with smoking. I vape more than I smoked and it takes a few minutes when I'm gasping to alleviate the cravings rather than the couple of puffs on cigarette. Having said that, I do find the cravings more mild now I'm not smoking. Going without a smoke from more than 90 mins was messy, with ecigs I find it's not as bad, I still get restless but nothing like the demon from hell I was with smoking.
