I use it once a day, the before bed clean. I just dip my dry toothbrush head into the dry powder and scrape a bit up, too much and it will fall off anyway. One 'dip' is enough to clean all your teeth, top and bottom, front and back. Just remember to rinse your mouth out well before moving on to the toothpaste, any fluoride toothpaste will do. That's something else my dentist told me, cheap toothpaste, expensive toothpaste, they all work the same. The only difference is the price! My teeth aren't white, they're a natural pearly colour. I don't use the bicarb. for whitening. I use it to remove the horrible tooth decaying plaque. I haven't had any fillings at all *touchwood* since I started using it nearly 4 years ago. Forgot to add: Don't scrub your teeth hard with the bicarb., just very lightly only just touching the tooth surface. I have an electric toothbrush, so I just let the brush do most of the work, moving it around in a gentle circular motion.

Well the discolouration due to rollups was prettty bad , so I figure vaping can't be any worse than rollups. The point is what causes the 'yellowing' ? Is it the nicotine , if so then your statements would be consistent.Only been vaping 2 weeks as well - so I can't tell the impact yet - still need to get my teeth whitenened at dentist from the smoking ! [Emphasis mine] Nicotine is colourless. It is the tar in tobacco that causes the colouring on teeth and fingers. Even though is is often referred to as "nicotine stains". The flavourings added my well have the effect of staining the teeth though of course whether they do or not will vary from flavour to flavour and manufacturer to manufacturer.
Lol thanks for getting back to me then Fuzzy I just wanted to check so I didn't overdoes on it, is it possible to use to much if you also use a toothwhitening toothpaste ?
I don't know if it is as effective as using pure bi-carb powder but there are bi-carbonate of soda based toothpastes on the market. I believe Arm and Hammer have one.
I have found personally, that in the few days I have been vaping, the discolouration of my teeth has decreased and the discolouration of my fingers is almost completely gone already
I have been using Clinomyn smokers toothpaste for several years now. This thread has caused me to wonder whether I should change to a different brand when my current tube runs out...

Most of my staining comes from tea and coffee but some did come from rollups. My teeth are slightly better now after turning to vaping. For all those worried about staining on their teeth I used eucryl toothpowder for many years which whitens the teeth since it contains a mild abrasive. The stuff has been around for ages, I've used it since I were a lad.

Eucryl is excellent stuff. I thought giving up smoking but I still have badly discoloured teeth, I think it's all the tea, coffee n wine I consume.

Falsies do have certain advantages.

Falsies do have certain advantages. My teeth lost much of their enamel when I couldn't get a dentist for years (disadvantage of the Highlands) so are covered with glass fibre material which certainly makes things easier.

There's nothing in eliquid that would cause yellowing of the teeth, i'd look elsewhere for the cause.
