Why djs? Just the look of the thing? Or do you prefer the menu system (the one button thing is putting me off)? Or do you think it will last longer?

I have both. Ignoring the 18350 possibility on the Vamo, which does make it kind of cute.. I just find the SID lighter, smaller, less bother. Then again, in fairness I just turn these things on and vape. For accessing menus the Vamo is probably better.

Must admit I do like the look of the SID. I only use 18650 batteries anyway. What's the build quality like?

Hmm. Hard to quantify. It feels lightweight and the thread on the bottom cap is terrible. As I said on another thread, it has some weaknesses but I don't expect mine to fall apart soon.

I can report zero issue with the "top" section (threads etc.). I get the occasional "short" reading using eGo-thread clearomisers but nothing on 510.

I have no complaints. 5 months (soon) as my main device.

Might be a nice change to have a lighter weight mod. All the ones I have are quite heavy.

I use tanks with standard size boges. So should be ok.

Might give this a try, just got to decide on colour now

Mrs poo's last Vamo from FT is on its last legs after about two months! They used to be reasonably well made and pretty durable but the ones being knocked out nowadays are much lower quality IMO. I'd get another SID over a Vamo any day of the week. It' snot like SIDs are fantastic but they are definitely better quality than current VAMOs

OMG!!! No!!! I don't think I can handle the pressure!!!     What if you don't like it?  

In all seriousness, I can't really fault the operation of the SID, the menu system is almost identical to the ZMax, but it just feels like a plastic mod.  It is light though, in 18650, I think it is still lighter than my zmax mini, and without a doubt lighter than the telescopic in 18350 mode, but for aesthetics and hand feel, the ZMax wins hands down IMHO.
