My new back yard

I could not believe the glorious sunshine and blue skies we had today, so, we decided to take my granddaughter and the dog for a walk in which will probably be our new back yard. It is only about 200yds from where we will be living.

The bottom pic is the beer garden of the local pub right on the river bank. I was amazed at how many people were out enjoying the good weather. There wasn't a seat to be had. On top of that, the road traffic driving down there was worse than the monday morning rush hour! Still, great to know spring has sprung and things are looking up.

Yes Greg. We have the official viewing on Tuesday and if we decide to take it, we have to go back on Thursday to sign all the paperwork, learn all about the facilities etc and also get a move in date.
We are 99% certain we are going to take it. Mr Dolly managed to find the floor plans of the new dwellings, all of which look good to us, so unless there is something we haven't seen that is a major problem we will move in.
We couldn't have wished for a nicer location, and you would be daft to turn down a brand new internal build. As one of my carers said, it would be impossible to find a better property in the entire area.

wow - Dolly that's super - it's so important that you feel well in the area you live - we moved 4 years ago - and we just love it here - and yes a nice local pub is important too - happy moving - guess that's the least desirable part - have moved often in my life - but it's a good opportunity to get rid of unused stuff

The river looks lovely and that's a field not a beer garden.
In my local smokers go out to have a fag on a loading bay as it's in a no smoking shopping centre.
Is the pub vape friendly?
How long will it take them to them cross the t's and dot the i's so you can move in? If you accept of coarse.

We have moved countries four times, so hopefully we are experienced movers now LOL! I am hoping this is the last one. I am finding hard to part with a lot of things I know won't fit in, but, I am trying to use my head and not my heart.

Yes, it's a huge beer garden. The inside is quite posh though and food used to be quite expensive. Not been there for a couple of years, but I am sure we will find an excuse to try their wares.

The lady I spoke to the other day when she caught us peeping through the windows said that after we have had the viewing it should only be a matter of two weeks or so before we can move in. All the building work is finished, but the gardens and some of the hard landscaping needs finishing off.

Sorry Phil, I meant to add that I haven't been in to find out if they are vape friendly yet, but at least during summer we can do it outside anyway.
Definitely inviting you all down in the summer.

There's a yacht club next door. You can all bed down in the boats. They won't notice!
