Been in a paypal dispute with fasttech for a while now. Got an email this morning saying paypal could not refund my payment because fasttech have proof of sending. Even though the tracking and royal fail have confirmed the order has not reached me im left out of pocket by $60+. Payapl recommended in there email to keep working with the seller to reach a resolution. The last I heard from fasttech was they were contacting singapore post which can take 45 days!
I feel seriously let down by both fasttech and paypal and thought id share my experience

That's a bummer, and a not-insignificant amount too. Touch wood, I've not had any problems with non-delivery from Fasttech. I have had a couple of problems with Paypal over ebay items though. Paypal are a very difficult company to deal with, seeming to have virtually no flexibility or discretion regarding their decisions. Keep plugging away at them, and good luck - I hope you get a result.

I had a similar problem with FT, albeit for £7. I kept plugging away telling them via umpteen emails the Pro Tank coils I ordered through them never arrived. I did eventually get a refund but in $ so after the conversion by PayPal I was left a couple of quid short. Still a refund though and then I told FT in very few words I would never order from them again! Good luck, keep plugging away!

Just a thought but have you escalated the PayPal dispute to a PayPal claim? Unless Fasttech can show that the item was received and signed for they will have to refund you. You have 60 days from placing the order to raise a PayPal claim.

It looks as though the package has been lost/stolen at Heathrow. I have vowed never to order from China again as the cheap prices are outweighed by the $hi£ customer service and hit and miss quality control that we have been receiving over the past 3 months.

Also ring a Paypal customer services person. Instructions are on their website. This is directly against their policy. Once you point that out, it should get sorted. I've had to do this eons ago during an Ebay dispute.

Tracked means tracked....
....if something goes missing in the chain, somebody must be responsible...
Tracked Air mail shouldn't mean... "OK, we'll drop it off over Hertfordshire somewhere" ???

I'm not surprised, you don't seem to be getting very far at all. Why does it take 45 days? Or rather what takes 45 days?

Result! Paypal customer service are very friendly, they explained that thecase was closed in error and it is not my fault that the items have nkt been recieved it is the sellers responsibility to ensure it is delivered by thecourier that they select. So case has been re opened and should be settled quickly
