Thanks guys for all that info, and the Spanish sites. Only problem with ordering from a Spanish vendor is that I'd be stung for customs charges - I know, sounds unreal doesn't it, but the postman told me about that problem and that's why hardly anyone in the Canaries orders anything online from Spanish websites Shows how much the pharmacist knew about VG liquid, he was going on about it being some sort of petrol and you'd have to be careful using it. I thought at the time what the heck is he going on about

Yessssss, yes please take a photo of the label on your bottle from Fuerteventura. Also at the same time could you give me the name of the pharmacy that you get it from, you never know that might help as well. Anything to try and get the pharmacies over here stocking the stuff, even just one pharmacy would flippin help.

emmita I found a website in Spain via the Spanish forum link you gave me that sells pharmaceutical grade VG in 500ml bottles at only 3,80 euros hereI shall bookmark it, but would be worried that I would get charged 30 euros in custom charges if I had it delivered here. However, a friend of mine fairly often goes over to Spain to visit her family and I suppose I could get some ordered to their address when she next goes over there, and then she could bring it over to me here. I'd have to ask her. Sometimes the Spanish can get funny about things like that, gawwd, could only ask, don't ask don't get haha

Nipping into Boots and picking up a couple of bottles has never seemed so easy toots, given the obstacles you've to overcome to get basic supplies!

That same site also does PG www.drogueriaboter.es/polietilenglicol-tagAgrup40118801Prices seem reasonable. But on the question of import taxes, last year whilst in Fuerteventura I order some e liquid from Mainland Spain - it was a UK vendor who had moved to Spain - can't remember the name may have been Freedomvape??? Anyway, also the liquids were a bit more expensive than normal (in UK) they did arrive in Fuerteventura without incurring any additional taxes. So not sure if I was lucky or the customs people just make random selections of goods?

So not sure if I was lucky or the customs people just make random selections of goods? I don't use PG so I don't need to worry about that, I use only VG & flavour concentrates + VG based nic. Yeah, maybe you were lucky with your order, twice I've been collared for customs charges and it's not funny when that happens coz the minimum seems to be 30 euros which is rather steep if you ask me. I ordered a special designer's pen which cost 30 euros and then had to pay another 30 euros on top for customs which made the pen twice as expensive Just out of interest can you remember what the shipping charge was for that order from mainland Spain? Just wondering how expensive that is, or whether it is quite cheap.

There was no specified shipping as it was "free shipping" so was built into the price of the e-liquids which was probably why they cost more than I expected to pay having been used to UK prices previously.

Im lucky here on the Costa Blanca our local Chino has 1 English girl who speaks Spanish and Chinese - off to have a chat with her I think over the weekend Without the wife Wow, wish she was over here Steve, would make life a lot easier if we could communicate with these Chinkies. We have to try using sign language and more often than not they take us through to the end of the warehouse and show us something completely different to what we were trying to ask for. It gets very frustrating and infuriating. You'd think they would at least learn Spanish whilst living here so we could talk to them in the local language Well made it down to the Chino last Thursday toots and came away today (after a bit of haggling) with 24 amber glass 100ml bottles for just €11 - happy days!!

Hahaha, good on yer Steve. I ended up with 6 x 200ml bottles filled with red Rioja wine for €8,66 - well at least my 'ol man gets something out of it Hey do you know if the Spanish pharmacies stock distilled water coz that's what I'm gonna be looking for tomorrow? Need it for diluting the litre of VG arriving this week. I'm hoping not to come up against a brick wall trying to find some.

Checked today with 2 of our local Farmacias and no they dont do it but noticed our Mercadona has got some which I find totally bazarre Decided to go for bottled water & boil it instead of distilled water. Just going to pour out 100ml of VG at a time as and when required then add 10ml of boiled bottled water to that. Leave the rest in the freezer undiluted. Perpetua said if I stand the litre bottle of VG in boiled water for a while it will be easy to pour into my little bottles for storing so that's what I'm going to do tomorrow. I've got some of the small bottles ready for putting the liquids into, the others will be ready tomorrow so I'll be re-bottling it all then. Got my funnel ready and waiting
