Oh gould, thanks Phoenixflame (Julie), I suppose I'd better start looking around the local shops here for glass bottles then. God knows where I'll find 'em here though

I'll try that ronaldo but I don't hold out much hope with our pharmacies Might try the local Chinese shops, they stock loads of things these days, whole warehouses full of weird & wonderful objects, probably my best bet they've sprung up all over the island over the past couple of years, cheap as well. There's at least 3 of these about 10 mins drive from my place, yep will try them first I reckon.

good idea you never know until you try Yeah, only problem with these chinese places is they are sooooooo big it takes you absolutely ages to find anything specific, and you can't ask them if they stock a particular item coz they neither speak English nor Spanish, just Chinese, and I flippin well do not speak Chinese and have no intention to learn it either

We have to try using sign language and more often than not they take us through to the end of the warehouse and show us something completely different to what we were trying to ask for. It gets very frustrating and infuriating. You'd think they would at least learn Spanish whilst living here so we could talk to them in the local language

Glass is advised toots because it's thought to be safer for long term storage, due to the effects of plasticizers possibly leeching into a nicotine base and vice versa. The same applies to flavours, over long term storage they can also leech into plastic and degrade.

Perpetua with the flavours you mentioned do you mean the concentrates or once you've actually mixed them, or both? How long approximately could you keep them in the plastic bottles before they start to degrade/leech into plastic etc? The already mixed ones or the concentrates I'm referring to here. I understand with regard to the nic base, will defo get some glass bottles from somewhere as I will be long term storing that. Also got 1 litre of VG coming so will use glass bottles for that too as will be long term storing that in the freezer as well. Gould, all this faffin about just because of the new EU rules coming into effect - they've got a lot to answer for you know

But to an extent it's speculation, glass is just known to be a better material for storing any number of liquids in, not necessarily those used in vaping. I don't know that it's anything related to regulation myself, more a precautionary measure if you're looking at long term storage.

Ahh Perpetua when I said "Gould, all this faffin about just because of the new EU rules coming into effect - they've got a lot to answer for you know" in my last post, I was referring to the EU limits of 20mg per ml of nic, making me buy a whole litre of nic base and having to store it, which I would not have done if they weren't bringing in the new directive. I wasn't referring to any regulations about plastic bottles not to be used for long term storage of liquids.
