at what point do you prefill the carto, before you pop the hole in the carto or after. and with boges in particular is it 9.5mm or 10mm (not including the thread) you pop the hole, ive read 2 different opinions on the same site. and ive just noticed it has been posted and i didnt see it come through the door, still waiting for the saddle though. i wont play with it tonight as ive just started a clearo but just want to get it straight what to do. ive watched the videos but it dont tell you when to prefill. thanks.

i pop a hole in before i fill but to be honest it doesnt matter ....the juice aint gonna flood out. as for where to put the hole... just measure cap against the carto and mark a little dot above where the cap comes to.... even if you make the hole too high its no real shakes it'll just mean you wont be able to run the juice down in the tank quite as low

We're not to 0.5mm around here Raggy, that would be far too accurate Like Gordy says, just offer the cap up and go just above, I find 10mm works well.

It's as good a way as any mate if you dont have high speed cutters, you'll need a very fine file to deal with the edges after the cut though.

thanks blakey, it doesnt sound that easy really as the cut will have to be ie 5mm right round and fairly precise i would imagine, then make sure the edges are very smooth. still i have a while before i might need to do that.

Raggy your hole location and size looks perfect ...is that with a nail or saddle valve? the top of your filler should look wet, well at least mine does... what juice are you using and what PG/VG mix?

I find that the top of the filler goes white and dry when chain vaping.Nothing to worry about Raggy as the bottom half of the carto where the coil is keeps getting fed with juice via the hole.I only make my hole a tiny 1mm as i find this perfect for 100% PG juices, yours still looks fine to me though mate.

Bubbles are a good sign mate as this is juice entering the hole and feeding the carto, exactly how it should work.Very happy its working well for you mate.
