any tips on using Boge 510D Soft Cap Empty Cartomizer. first time with these ive only ever used one cartomizer before. i filled slowly with a needle tip bottle, i would have measured the juice with a syringe but getting the cap off is a bit of a faf on a regular basis.

Raggy, I always use the condom method on first fill.
I remove the cap (white plastic bung) using a paper clip. I then replace it with a drip tip.

You take one of the silicone "cups" that usually protect each end of a new carto, and half or two-thirds fill it with juice, then lower the carto, battery end first, into it and the juice is sucked up.
These cups vary in size so I can't say exactly how far up to fill it.
I haven't done it for a long time as I'm needle-filling DC cartos these days, see-through ones so I can see exactly what I'm doing.

Just be careful if you use a syringe Raggy, that you don't go in too far and damage the coil or anything. The condom method is the easiest for most liquids, but if you have a particularly thin liquid, you can get away with just filling from the top into the wadding. If you get 27-30 drops in from a standard 30ml bottle, it's full. Much less and you have dry spots. I always prefer to overfill them if anything, because it's easier to blow the excess out onto a tissue than it is to fill dry spots.

The Boges do crackle alot Raggy I can only agree with whats already been said regarding the condom method.I find pushing the carto down into the condom from the top end gives a better fill than doing it from the battery end though with 510s.

As Ian says Raggy, the Boge do crackle a fair bit. If you want one that don't crackle, try the Kangers. They also have a less airy draw.

Not sure Ian. They do fit in the Big Daddy Vapour Tank, because I have one here. Blue will probably know, because he has tried the Kangers I think. I've just put one side by side and end on with a Boge and they seem to be identical, size wise.

Does anyone know if I can use my plain old (but working) 510 atomisers on my Riva, and will they work just as well? Thanks
