have a look at post #5 here for what i use or you can get a sharp nail and tap it with a hammer a few times and it will pop through the outter casing... the hole should be around 1mm and take care not to go through the carto too far and damage the inner centeral tube.

Depends on the size of the tank Natz.
I fill a 3ml one and it lasts me all day.
They are a bit greedier than some other methods, but convenient.

i suppose something like a battery operated engravers tool would be handy with a small drill bit. i have a dremell with some diamond discs which would also do the job without pressuring the carto by hammering or even a small drill bit. any opinions on a grove as opposed to a hole?.

Lol sorry should have been clearer. I meant, there lifespan, because there very expensive :/ or is it just the cartos that keep needing replacing? I don't think I'm really understanding. I'd say I'm having a blonde moment, but I'm a redhead Nats x

I quite fancy trying this, i'd like a lil mama tank, but wouldn't need the big daddy tube, does anywhere sell the mama on its own?
Nats, i'd imagine as long as you're careful not to drop it or bounce it off anything, it'd last as long as you needed it to, its just a container that you fit a carto into, then fill with juice which gradually seeps into the carto through the little hole you punch in it, keeping it wet.

The cost of the actual tube is negligible Lilac, you are mostly paying for the end caps.
So it's probably as cheap to get the kit from iVapour as just the Lil Mama direct from Bigdaddyvapour and at least you've always got the option or can cut the large tube down to make another Lil Mama.
As for tank life, they should last a fair while, but there are certain liquids, such as cinammon, that are best not used with them.
They also make your carto's last longer, by keeping them permanently wet.

If you want a tighter draw on first usage Raggy , I find that fitting my cone does the trick , as Jason suggests the Kangers are a nice draw and I find even better with a cone , but thats just my personal opinion , naturally that is with tonegova batts

Sorry Raggy,im not always the best at giving clear info though i know what im trying to say Thanks for the much clearer and simpler explanation with the picture Gordy.I cant for the life of me see how an atomiser could work in a carto tank?Surely it would just flood?Only way i can think how it could work is to stuff the atomiser with filler material and then it would work the same as the cartomisers.I dont think the 306 would work though as its a small atomiser,i love the 306s though so if it was possible then i would give it a go for sure. One thing to also note with the cartomisers in the tank is that after a week or two the filler does deteriorate and you start to get a little leakage from the connector. At this stage i change over cartomiser, clean out the old one and put it in the freezer for a few days. All my old ones go into an emergency box just incase im ever running low, which i never do but good to have just incase :)So yeah,if you want to try a tank out then PM me your details Raggy. Its an older V1 Arry tank but atleast you will be able to see if you like the concept of cartos in a tank Raggy.

I'd say I'm having a blonde moment, but I'm a redhead Nats x the tank is just a feed system for the carto that continually fills it via a small hole that you make in the side of the carto the cartos are just regular ones that you just pull out of the tank and replace with a fresh one when it dies to refill tank when the juice level gets low you simply pop the top of the tank off and pour the juice in around the carto then pop the top cap back on (very easy) how long will the tank last ??? the rubber seals will get old and fail but they are a couple of quid for a whole set (which you get a spare set from ivapour in the big daddy/lil momma kit) the plactic tube can react with some juices that will cause it to crack or even disintegrate the top and bottom caps are stainless steel and will last forever plus points :- you wont need to top off for 3ml worth of juice the carto will last longer as it will get a nice consistant feed of juice the vape will be better too due to the consistant juice supply if you like cartos a tank is well worth trying IMO
