Thinking about making my own Juice???

Yeah I like the fact it £1 odds a bottle . I just bought boots glycerin B.P. I was going to buy 72mg nic from vapersemporium but they want £10 delivery! So I just ordered 100ml 54mg from Joosejuice for £12.50. Will need to find the best place to buy nic 72mg in future if I am successful at juice making .
I just got some juice delivered this morning from alchemists cupboard. Mint Choc chip ice cream mmmm yum. Would love to know how to make that. It's not on the recipes he has posted. It's definitely my favourite juice so far.

And if you want to add a ' cooling ' effect to your Mint Choc Chip, try adding some Koolada, it has no flavour but gives the sensation you get eating an ice-cream.

That sounds just what I am after for my experimental rum and raisin ice cream Perpetua .  I've made up the rum and raisin part, and its not bad, but didn't really know where to start on the ice cream part.  Would you think I should add some sort of cream flavour as well or any other recommendations?

I'd probably try a little Dulce de Leche combined with your Rum & Raisin/Koolada vigowomble.

It's said to resemble the Haagen Daz ice creamy flavour . . .

Thanks Perpetua. I'll give that a go when I get my next concentrates order in. You'll be please to hear I made my first 80ml mix of your improved VC recipe. Just got to let it steep till 3.30pm on 28th April 2014, not that I'm counting the days or anything.

I've been playing around with the forum mix calculator. It's saying I need to add more pg but I don't have any apart from nic base. Can I just add extra vg in place of it therefore rather than a 50/50 it would be more like 45/55 ?
Would it be too thick?

Yes, absolutely fine :Dsome people vape 100% vg, thats when it might be gloopy and what many mixers do is add 'a slosh of vodka'   to thin it but you probably  wont need to

Brilliant. All I need to do is wait on mr postman bringing all my goodies. I've got loads of old bottles of ejuice that I never used and most full. 2 years old. Are they too old? Was going to empty them down the sink and wash and reuse the bottles. Some of the liquid is black like my full bottle of grants vanilla custard.
I haven't worked out a preference for pg or vg. I used 100% vg virgin vapour butter mint cream which I loved. Used to get a slight runny nose but I thought that was maybe more to do with mint.

The black e-juice is probably off if it's black and 2 years old depends a lot on the flavouring. Off e-juice has a distinct taste peppery sort of.

rednutt dont forget the thing about makeing your own juice you need to steep it and ts not as easy as it sounds Tease-smiley

Hi,

Firstly, Black or dark e-juice, does not indicate that it has gone off, just the opposite... it has most likely matured very well.... I have bottles at 2 years old in my personal collection, and they are some of the best you can taste.

Don't throw away what could be a very nice juice.

Secondly, fresh nic can and often does have a peppery smell / taste. It needs time to mature and blend once mixed with other components. The peppery note will decapitate with proper steeping.

Some  suppliers of Nicotine (usually from USA, China, India, etc) send older stock where the nicotine has already aged, most Nic from the USA is Indian manufactured and imported to the USA and then sold to customers in the UK. So can be a few months old before purchased.
