I just give them my acid rain look . . . that generally stops any further idiotic comments. Congratulations to you juliet42, it's a fantastic achievement, don't let the negative comments bug you.

juliet42 - follow up to Raffles suggestion - ask them if the would give up coffee & tea as they are also both addictive & contain stimulants BTW, I'm actually puzzled that I never get anyone staring at me or asking questions - especially as I use a Vamo. In fact I go out of my way to vape it as much as possible in busy places & no one ever seems to bat an eyelid Chrissie, I stood outside of the front doors of Kingsley Village a couple of days ago, waiting for OH to take a call of nature, so I fired up my Ecig, and took a good vape, and the lady stood just inside the door looked at me as if I was the grim reaper himself! I was in Truro today for a couple of hours, and didn't see anybody else using an Ecig, I was very surprised! Got some funny looks there too! By the way, I found an Ecig shop in the Pannier Market, had to try some juice, would have been rude not to! Apart from neighbours & friends I've converted & some of the other Cornwall members, I've also not seen that many folks using e-cigs here in Cornwall. There are a few more outlets opening up though not that many so far compared to other areas, as you can see from our map - maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?msid=215709227017751563123.0004e116abe884acfc184&msa=0&dg=feature (Check out page 2 of the map as well).

Mrs is still pestering me to give up vaping, or at least try too, even though she is vaping still!
She started on 6mg as only smoked 5-10 cigs a day, but now mixes 0mg with 3.6mg...almost down to 0mg but can't make the jump yet.
I've gone down from 18mg/24mg to 7.2mg ffs...at least I'm trying.
Even when/if I get to 0mg I reckon I'll carry on vaping to be fair, actually enjoy it.

Why does everyone assume that vaping is just a stage on the pathway to giving up smoking ... I've given up the fags .. And I used to love smoking ... I've now found an alternative that is way more healthier, cleaner and cheaper ... It's actually become my new 'hobby' also ... I love it and have absolutely no intention of stopping it or reducing Nic strength etc ... I have stopped smoking .. End of story ... Now I vape ....

I'm kinda being bullied into dropping nic. Doubt I'll ever actually do it. I only dropped nic levels at first so I could chain vape without giving my self a headache! rednutt got it right - now there's a new addiction of SHOPPING FOR NEW STUFF! hahahahaha hahaha, yeah, seems we've all got a serious case of permanent addiction. Maybe it wasn't simply the fags we were addicted to, we were doomed from the start for having an addictive nature and we've now simply turned into shineyitus addicts. I bet most of us could also give up the nicotine and just be dependent on shineyitus instead of dependent on nicotine hahaha Now where did I put that bank card
