OK guys & gals, bit of expert advice needed... just got my Kanger Aerotank today but when fitted to my MVP it shows resistance as 0.0 I've tried both coil s that came supplied with the same results, any ideas? its not the MVP, that works great with the iclear30

0.0 means 'no atty detected' which suggests that the centre pin on the atty is not making contact with the battery. Try screwing the head in a bit tighter so the contacts stick out more. Failing that the centre pin on the atty head might be able to be pulled out a tiny bit or the centre pin on the mod raised slightly

it's been known for the centre post of different atty/clearo's not to reach the centre pin. A little adjustment on either should clear it all up. Drat OneDay beat me to it.

Stunning work guys, never had an Aerotank before, & didn't realise you could adjust anything, moved centre pin out a little and it now shows 1.9ohm, its supposed to be 2.1ohm but hey... it works

Me again.... the Aerotank is showing no resistance again, tried another coil, tried adjusting the centre pin but still nothing, after a lot of faffing about I suddenly realised that I had swapped mvp's to charge one, tried the Aerotank on the charging one and low & behold 2.0 ohms, back onto the new mvp 0.0 ohms!!!!!
Everything else works on this mvp (iClear30 & iClear x1) its just the Aerotank and this one mvp seem to not like each other..... WHY????

Maybe the centre pin on the MVP is too low, maybe try this but be gentle:

I noticed that if I tighten my aerotanks down too tight it can short out on the vamo. Unscrewing it a few turns brings the resistance back to the normal 2 - 2.5 ohms.

0.0 on an MVP suggests a short circuit rather than "no atty attached" as stated above. With no atty attached an MVP displays "non" Perhaps your screwing the atty on a little harder on the MVP you get zero on. Protank have really fine tolerances between the head and the base. Maybe worth whipping the coil head out of your atty and checking the coil legs are nice and short. Ie no visible legs protruding Does seem strange it's works on one MVP and displays a short on the other though.

Yes that is the weird thing, first one has finished charging, put the Aero back on and it works fine.

Hi everyone. I've just found this thread trying to solve same problem so would like to share my experience with it. The problem is center pin connecting to battery positive. No matter if its authentic tank or clone. Its the connection between coil pin, especially if you using tank on different mods. Some mods have hard positive pin like in evic for example, where this pin is pushed out by the gasket. And there are mods with positive pin pushed out by spring which tend to be softer. When you put your tank on one of the mods with harder pin then it pushes pin on aerotank which is puahing coil pin, and then when you change your aerotank onto mod with softer pin, this one is not pushing aerotank pin strong enough to reach to pin on the coil. Its all about connection between two pins of tank which isn't stiff enough. Ibve solved it by pushing out bottom pin of tank from inside of the base, put additional tiny o-ring on the pin, and puting it back but upside down from the inide of a base. Ask if you need some pictures for better understanding.

thank you and woytaz I've had no problems since then, must have been a strange one off, but your fix sounds interesting, pictures would certainly help
