Hahahaha! OMG this so made me laugh! Thank you, I needed that! On topic, ahem, I'm glad you posted this Capt' : for some reason I'm having awful trouble cleaning my clearomizers efficiently too. Looks like an ultrasonic cleaner might be the way to go for me aswell, as so far, no matter what I do I get leaking or air bubbles or burning or SOMETHING going wrong after I've cleaned I don't know what I'm doing wrong - just putting it down to being a noob and needing practice at all this but it's so frustrating! I ended up with a definite pout last night after things went wrong and I gave up again. *sigh* Wishing you luck!

Denture cleaner in hot water, soak for 15mins , rinse thoroughly in hot water then cold. I dry mine on the radiator. I use the same method for cleaning the re-buildable heads too.

All i do is take the clearo apart chuck it all in a pot of water with 1 denture tablet, let it soak for 24 hours, really good rinse off and then leave to dry for 24 hours. Doing it this way though the heads only go through 2 clean cycles before they start to degrade and you lose the vape from them.

Using an ultrasonic cleaner is so easy misst I got mine for around £20 from ebay new and it's such a saving in the long run just hot water and run twice. If I feel like it might add half a cap of Milton's fluid but not always. I have a dozen tanks and just clean them once a week ( they all have different flavours) I have a mixture of protank mini 2's and RGM2's (fasttech around £2.00) they a take the same coil. So 2 sets of coils as I can't be bothered waiting for them to dry so switch while drying the tanks I dry with kitchen roll and pipe cleaners takes about 30 minutes to do the lot and refill once a week.

Okay - just been on Amazon and saw this - do you think it's a bit over the top for what I need it for? Only £499.00! Call me old-fashioned, but that's Shinyitus taken to ridikkerluss levels icon_shoppingm

Ok - cheap charlie route seems to be denture tablets & hot water, thank you.
When I got the Mini Protank 2's from myepack, there were a couple of small rubbery ring things in the package - do I need to do anything with those?
Sensible answers only if possible hahahahahaha

They are just spares fit the drip tip and can stretch to fit the base and the glass seating so handy to keep. I have only needed to use one though when I lost a base o-ring.

Thank you babs - are they really stretchy or do you roll them over the drip tip bit to get it to go "snap" into the correct location & can you roll it around to get it sit tight. This conversation could SO be taken the wrong way

Just a little note on o'rings... Keep the Atty o'rings lubricated with a little VG after a good clean...
No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted

tomj777 - does it have to be VG, because all of my eliquids are 70/30 PG/VG - a dollop of that on the o'ring will be ok, won't it?

And thanks from me too babs! I'll def be looking into an ultrasonic cleaner. Getting a bit about spending money like water lately on this stuff! I guess it's more initial outlay to get yourself all set up in the first place and then you can calm down a bit lol Well in theory anyway!
(Can anyone tell I just found the smileys?) lol
