Hi all! So my story : I started vaping in 2012 with one of the cig-alikes kits , but gave up 10 days in and went back to analogs .... Re-started vaping about 3 weeks ago , after a really bad bout of flu and enjoying it much more now , as I got myself an Ego battery with a Kanger T3S clearomizer. The only problem that I have is : not everything is going straight forward - I had a couple of CE4 clearomizers , that stopped being efficient after a few days. They also leaked badly both at the top and bottom. Wondering if I was doing anything wrong , as I was following the instructions .... but they still leaked at times. Had to unscrew and clean out the battery part multiple times a day. Now with the Kanger , the leaking problems have stopped but my battery is playing up ... last couple of days , even after being fully charged , it failed to give out any vapes when inhaling or it just makes this popping sound when you press the button and if I try to vape and inhale in my mouth , I end up with little blobs of e-juice on my tongue. Am I doing something wrong when filling up / cleaning it? Any advice is very welcome. I am really getting a bit frustrated and I really dont want to go back to analogs .

I'd chalk that up to experience and a bad buy, invest in something like this which will be considerably better than what you have Twisty: myepack.co.uk/evod-starter-kit.htmlCE4's are never going to give you a good/satisfying vape I'm afraid.

@twisty perseverance will pay off im not great on recommendations on starter kits, but the evod kit as perps linked to above would be ideal or a ego twist/spinner with iclear 16 would be too

CE4s are old technology Twisty - there are some far superior alternatives around such as the Evods which Perpetua has linked to ^^^ They had two failings - firstly the seal between the polycarbonate tank and the metal base was poor, resulting in cracking and leaks, and secondly they were cheaply made so the coils were very unpredictable. You seem to have fallen foul on both counts!! The Evod starter kit would be cheaper than a week's smoking fags if you were a 20/day smoker, and will pack enough punch and be a great vape, enough to enable you to kick those stinkies into touch. Please keep us posted, and if you need any more help, just shout!

To be fair I've come across a few people now with the evod kit and they can leak too, I started rewicking them with silica and thinner gauge wire and that seems to be curing the issue.
If you have some technical ability I'd say jump right in and get a better bit of kit straight away like the kayfun and some sort of decent device. They're easy to get the hang of and last for ever and the money you'll save in the long run is well worth it not to mention the health benefits.
Each to their own but that's my advice from my own experience

Thank you Perpetua and steve , I've definitely ditched the CE4's now and Im on a Kanger T3S , which is much much better. The only problem I am having is the battery playing up .... its only 16 days old so wouldnt think its ran out its course yet ... ? This is what I am using ....

Read up on lifting the pin inside the connector on the battery, over tightening is common with newbies and pushes the pin down so much that it can stop making contact. 99% of the time that solves ego battery problems

Just to add aswell ive noticed mpst problems arise when kangers are involved after the use of ce4s and iclears. I think the connection on kanger atties is slightly smaller than everything else. I had simlar issues with a coolfire 2 and kanger aerotank after using iclear30s's

Your battery, if it's a known brand, should be good for at least 100 charges. There is one thing which might be happening; switch the battery off, and very carefully see if you can persuade the centre pin inside the top of the battery up by a mm or so, using a thin needle, tweezers or a wooden toothpick (but make sure this doesn't snap, or you will be in even more trouble!). It may not be making complete contact with the base of your Kanger clearo - avoid screwing it down to hard, as this will force that centre pin back down again. As long as it's secure on the battery, you should be OK. The popping you mention will be the coil in the clearo itself, not the battery. It is actually the sound of a good coil vapourising the juice so efficiently that it pops as it heats up, so that's nothing to worry about. If it's spitting juice, it's not pleasant (although not dangerous in those minute quantities unless you are practically drinking the stuff!), and the coil will begin to carbonise and settle down within a day or so. Hope this helps! EDIT: Steve (VapeStorm) beat me to it!

steve & chykensa .... thank you so much guys , this all makes sense to me now. Guilty for over tightening!! I'll get my tweezers and hopefully I can lift up the pin inside The battery is an eGo 1100 mah from ecignet , so it should be ok. I was a bit worried about these popping sounds but seems like nothing to worry about. Once again , thank you for helping and putting my mind at rest. Im loving vaping tbh!

Twisty - a needle would be best, and gently work around the pin from all angles, just a little tweak at a time. It doesn't need to be lifted much to make good contact, and provided you don't overtighten your clearo, should work - best of luck!

I've only had my itaste vv3 for 4 days but I can also vouch for how good it is compared with an ego or a spinner. I paid £29.99 from myepack and got 5 I clear 16's with it I've never enjoyed vaping so much and love adjusting the volts and watts to each juice for vaping perfection That sounds really sad when I read it back, lolz.
