Hi @alopezg1 and a warm from me too. I smoked about 15 roll ups a day for around 25 years and then cutting back to 8-10 a day for the last year, I didnt enjoy smoking and really needed to stop for my healths sake but couldn't stop so tried vaping. Like alot of people I tried the ecigs you see in shops etc and they didnt do anything for me and carried on smoking. I then tried a kit that had cig-a-like batteries with a small clearomiser which, although it worked for me, I still had cravings for the cigs and I needed something that would work better. I found this amazing site and I bought a EVOD starter kit (ego type batteries) with a mini Protank 2 and vape 18mg liquid, this works a treat for me and I havn't touched any smokes for over 4 weeks now. All these people on this forum can give some amazing advice, they have helped me loads even just reading over other peoples posts, but as a new vaper myself I can't really give much advice and I hope you find what you need soon. Also don't pressure yourself into anything, just take each day as it comes, have a smoke if you need to, then next time maybe when you have gear you feel comfortable with, substitute a smoke for a vape and so on, whatever YOU feel comfortable doing.

Welcome @alopezg1! Getting the right combination of hardware (battery and top) and software (PG/VG ratio and flavour of juice) that works for you may take a little while but will be worth it in the end. Oggy Oggy Oggy!

oggy oggy oggy indeed captain Bongo. Misst , WTA liquid - whole tobacco alakaloid- is made using a method of extraction that includes some additional alkaloids from the tobacco plant which apparently are similar to nicotine . Synthetic nicotine does not contain these other additional alkaloids they can only be found in the tobacco plant itself. Well, i don't really know all that much about the science and thought it was maybe a bit fishy until i got some new gear and have been using the WTA and have to say it is very satisfying indeed and has a very potent throat hit . I seem to also need a lot less of it , which is handy as it is quite expensive. I orderred mine from america i don't know if there is an English vendor that makes it. I would recomend it now though

Thankyou perpetua . I will be back in the uk early next week so i'm sure i can find somewhere easily enough. I just wanted to get some opinions on whether the switch would be worthwhile , as in make a noticeable difference p.s. you start work very early ..... are you a farmer? Lol . . . not that early every day fortunately @alopezg1. Apologies if links/opinions have been posted since, but yes I think you'll notice a big difference with the flexibility a Variable Voltage/Wattage device or battery will give you. Which in turn gives a better vaping experience, more like smoking - for me anyway. These are the batteries I meant to point you to in the wee small hours this morning: myepack.co.uk/vision-spinner-1300-mah.htmlIf it's anywhere near the Bristol area that you'll be staying in the UK, then you'd be very welcome to pop round to me, to see and try out some of the different options that have been suggested. The good Lord only knows I've enough gear to stock a small shop.
