I'm hoping to be able to go to a meet that's supposed to be happening on may 18th in Edinburgh. It's being run by a local shop and looks like there might be some interest. I'm feeling a bit nervous about it tho! (I don't get out much lol)

The tasters I got were from joose juice, the 10 ml ones. One of them, Spearmint, has a really strong smell but tastes much much weaker - it's also looks cloudy in the tank. Is it supposed to look that way?

Your not alone on this.
Ive been vaping for a year now and apart from the one tabbaco flavour ive found for my all day vape in my rose everything else I have tried in my zenith dripper tastes like crap.
Ive tried all the ones that people rave on about on but they all taste like sweet yuck.
No matter what coil setup I try nothing makes them better. My latest tryout is mrs lords spotted dick after seeing todd on you tube gojng yum yum, but its ended up as just another major disappointment and wasted money.
Ive come to the conclusion that perhaps 35 years of smoking has just killed my taste buds and I should give up trying out flavours.

Whatever you do; keep the bottles you have that aren't worth selling or trading (or giving away).

I will happily vape many liquids I didn't think I liked in 2012.

(excluding Liqua Grape, of course... which is just terrible beyond compare...)

Its seriously hacking me off as I would like to not have to vape tabbaco all the time, ive had years of that taste.

hi @windows geesh that sounds so frustrating! You've been vaping a whole year and still getting that? Poor you! I've been smoking for many many years too, I hope that isn't what's in store for me

Well, for example, I have just put 6 flavours into my mini protank 2's to vape.

All Joosejuice & stood for 3 weeks

Banana - very nice smell from the bottle & I thought "oh goody", but when I vaped it? Very weak old banana taste.
Coconut - same as above
Irish Cream - tasteless
Caramel - tasteless (exactly the same taste as irish cream aka no taste)
Hazelnut - pretty tasteless, certainly no hazelnut taste coming through
Dark Cherry - At Last! It actually tastes of cherry, sort of. Will keep this one.

So - that's 1 out of 6 that actually had a taste that wasn't "meh" ....

I hope it isn't either. 
Yes ive been off cigs since day one of vaping. I find however that I soon moved onto the serious mods and atties very soon after I started in order to get the throat hit I needed.

I rest my case, most of them are just nasty. 
Its like the spotted dick im trying now, if I was served that in a restaurant ide send it back. Its nothing like any desert ive ever tasted.

CaptainChaos oh what a shame! I've got 2 of those which I thought I'd leave another week because I'd read on here that other peeps have left them a month before they'd 'matured' enough - that's the Dark Cherry and the Irish Cream. The Dark cherry does smell like it ought to taste of cherries to me, but with marzipan, and I don't like marzipan lol

I really don't get how these liquids can smell soo lush and then not taste of anything! Well, only metal and prickly feeling in my case lol

well there's a test for you, misst - when you've left them for 3 weeks (ish), try the Red Cherry & Irish Cream & tell me what you think.

I am vaping them now & the cherry definitely has a cherry flavour (I can't taste any marzipan) and the Irish Cream has a taste but nothing I can describe properly, but Irish cream isn't what I'm tasting.

Mine are both 24mg & 70/30 PG/VG

Ok so I've got the Dark Cherry on the go... a bit weird cos I can smell it but the taste is less pronounced. Can smell marzipan but not taste it til after I've exhaled as a kind of aftertaste and it's only slight. More flavoursome generally on the exhale than drawing in. Still very weak tho. Better than the others. Less in the way of throat hit, but then the throat thing often dies away for me after I've got through the first 10-15 mins.

I should say, both these are 50/50 12 mg

Irish Cream... I can taste the cream but not the irish lol Again, weak, wee bit sickly.

Still getting a kind of artificial taste with both of them. What flavour there is is very subtle and .. there's almost a kinda scented aftertaste.

Can't believe I can STILL taste metal!!

It's weird CaptainChaos Maybe they've still not steeped enough? I have read other reviews of jj juices that people have found them weak, and left them a bit more, and they've improved. Maybe that's what we should do?
