So I have a batch of concentrates all stored in my box with my vg and nic base but as my concentrates is now growing, how do you keep organised? Do you have a spreadsheet with the concentrates you have?
and what about trial mixes, where do you log them? I mean if you are making up a new flavour with several flavours involved, how do you store the variations of the various mixes so that you can refer back and make changes to the recipie?
if you are making your own mix, do you make it without nicotine first?
TIA x

I print out all the juice recipes, then make notes if something needs changing, then print out the adjusted copy and throw away the old one. I personally don't make up 0 nic juices to sample as nicotine has a slight peppery taste which can affect the overall flavour.

If I make a concentrate recipy - I note it on a spread sheet ( just love excel ) - one of our ( big ) drawers is dedicated to vaping stuff - as I mix everything generally on 20 % I don't make a note if I for example just make up some banana liquid - I just label it with the date

I just use the forum mix software and if I tweak a recipe just rename it to version 2 or 60/40 for example. Once I have it right just delete the versions no longer required.
I do also print them outfor safe keeping just incase the software became unavailable for any reason.

no I don't have a list - they are just there in my drawer - but in a separate box to the ready liquids

You're not going too deep at all Mrsmac. I've been thinking along the same lines lately. Have a fair few and a basic idea of what concentrates I've got, but also have more than one of some because I forget what I have when ordering new stock. Thinking of doing a spread sheet that not only lists them, but lists how much is in each bottle. Edit the spread sheet as and when using something to make ordering much easier in future - and saves having to empty the entire box all over the dining table to figure it out too. Which brings me to another thing someone needs to figure out. How the heck do you organise the concentrates in the box so they're easier to grab without having to read every single label on every single bottle until you find the right one?! Other than dumping them all out on the table for each mixing session like I end up doing

This is one of my 3 flavour draws,as you can see all marked and catalogued, red=fruit, yellow= Mint and Tobaccos, Blue= pre-mix (T Juice etc), green = Additives. All bottles are numbered and the list is in the back of the same book I put my recipes in.

More than happy to help,it's a pain lifting every bottle to see the label when trying to find one, this makes it easy, look at the list, colour and number, job done,it also reminds you which ones you have,a quick look at the list and you know what's what.
