So i was sat here today thinking about my vaping habits, thinking about putting all my vape gear ready for the cats and staring at my vape stand (i have a lot of time on my hands for 2 weeks lol) and have realised i have gone completly full circle on my vaping. The last 6 days all i have been using are my vv ego style batteries and either an Evod glass/2 or a Mini Protank 3. I still use my vtr and aerotank when i go out and about but at home i am back to almost where i started and do you know what i am loving it. No re coiling, no hassle and a faff free vape. A dam good vape at that from my kanger clearos and there stock heads. I have not used my kayfun clone for weeks or either of my mech mods, there just sat there making the stand look pretty. Same goes for all my drippers, 2 are on show on the stand and the rest are in the vape box. ??? So with is mind and me putting kit away due to cats i am sat here thinking do i really need or want any of this high end gear i have or any of the rba's and rda's i have. The answer, no i don't. A simple great clearo and an vv ego battery is all i need really to get the satisfying vape that i am after and maybe just one mod for the aerotank. That is it. So i have almost come full circle to where i started with vv ego style batteries, is this a sign of how good the likes of kanger and innokin have got with there clearos, tanks and batteries and how far things have come in the last year and a half or this me becoming a lazy vaper and just wanting a faff free inexpensive vape? ???

Whatever works for you Roscopecotrain. I couldn't live without puffing away on my VTR - to me that's the best set-up I've ever invested in. I really do miss it when I'm out & about coz I only use the VTR at home. The strange comments I get from friends & family when they visit is enough without taking it outside and exposing it to strangers' weird looks, sniggers & god knows what comments I might get, alas it only gets used indoors not to mention carrying that weight around in my handbag I started on a little ego standard 650mah battery with a ce4 clearo - no way would I be happy with that set-up now, not even when out & about, although I did use that for the first 5-6 months, so it did the job back then

I am loving it Super-Shiny, simple, easy and no hassle, perfect. Yep...Kanger and the the rest have indeed come a long way, even though i don't buy stock heads (not much choice until they make them with cotton) i just make 20 heads in one hit and they last me ages so now it's just a case of pop a new head in, vape the crap out of it until it's dead and pop another new one in, i could just swap the cotton for new but i can't be arsed. Faff free is my new way of vaping....

Roscopecotrain I think you've discovered what Super-Shiny and some others of us have realised.... good vape with less fuss wins hands-down every time, and it's also cheaper as long as you've got v-v, that's all you need... keep the faffing for juice-mixing and vape happy

I knew you'd all sink back to my level sooner or later. The most advanced/expensive kit I've got is the MVP V1, which is used very rarely now after the initial buzz, and is for when I have a 'doh' moment and realise my 2 spinners are flat. I've even gone back to the CE4/5s which have never let me down, and just buy the heads. Reminds me of the tortoise and the hare (I'm the tortoise!)

So it's not just me then? Squape because it's a massive capacity and I'm a lazy bugger sitting here at night. Protank II's for out and about again for their capacity. Vamo's for ease and convenience and Nemi's for practicality. (If they get damaged whist out and about. Who cares they are sooooo cheap nowadays.) Happy days are here again.

Thank you, Roscopecotrain, faff free & inexpensive is spot on & I now feel so much better about never moving past my 1300mah Spinners & Ego C Twists with a ProTank atop with bought coil heads.

It's like coming 'out of the closet' isn't it? (not that I've needed to do that, I hasten to add!) Do you think our membership here will now be downgraded? ??? ETA: Probably will be when Perpetua and Karma come online and spot this thread.

Three aero tanks and an MVP is all I use daily. Carry a spare mod in case the MVP starts playing up but never required it. Everything else I have accumulated sits hiding in a cupboard untouched. Should really have a clear out.

I've never actually progressed past what most people might call the intermediate vaping stage. The closest I've got to a mod is the Vamo V5 I got recently which is great. On top of that I use mini protank 2 and 3. I'm currently waiting for the aerotank mega and mini to show up on FT. £19 for the aero mini just isn't going to happen it would cost me nearly £80 to upgrade the small tanks.
I don't recoil or rewick or re-anything I just put new heads in when the old ones get a bit rough so faff free all the way here. Great news for all new vapers that there's such excellent easy to use gear around now.

aww, just goes to show that the quality of off the shelf stuff is good that's reason enough to celebrate! I've done something similar, examined what I wanted most out of vaping (besides a decent vape, of course) and I've decided that I'll carry on recoiling protank heads as I like them and microcoils are easy - but I wont be moving onto more complicated rba's and dripper rebuilds, I'm just not interested enough. Nowt wrong with my 306 drip tip if I need to test a juice! I have to get more confident building my divers as I need them for my favourite mod (and I like my tanks, but if all else fails I'll slam in boge cartos) and then my spheroid as its the only logical choice for microstick. That'll do me I think

There will always be shinyitis, so no downgrading, as for Perps & Karma, nah, as I daresay even they have the same gear, just all the shiny stuff too, as they lurve to shop for a bargain or do I mean, they lurve to shop?

Vision spinner and a kanger evod tank is. What I'm ushering now. And I'm very happy with It. It's a big move up in vapeing. From a cheap ego and ce4 . There are a couple of mods I like with I might buy. I have a GT rba which a very kind member gave me and a mech mod. Just need some batts and charger for it. (When funds allow) I would like to learn how to recoil. But I shall just buy a tank for oily t that I can buy stock heads for. I will have a play at rebuilding the rat but I'm looking to use something with stock coils mostly with it. I fancy a map or a vtr. I wood l like a spinner 2 as well.
I live that with vapeing you need more than one device . If you he trouble with one you will always have something to pick right up and use. But unless you turn into a hobbyists and start building your own mods and playing around like that. Then it's ease of use all the way. Of course like mobile phones and computers the company's that make them will always bring new models out to tempt you to upgrade to the latest devices. And that's fine.
