Hello again. Hope it is OK to keep this thread going for a bit while I get through the initial stages of this.
Much to my surprise, in the 24hours since I started I have only smoked one cigar instead of my usual 15-20. I am enjoying puffing on my Riva - sorry, got to get with the programme here - vaping with my Riva. Still, early days, and I only intended to reduce the cigars a bit so we'll see.
I have mainly used the same juice and have just kept topping up the same cartridge when the vapour seemed to reduce a bit. Is this approach OK? How often should I clean out or replace the cartridge?

Hi Dave & Welcome Your approach to topping up with a few drops when the vapor diminishes is the correct approach. I think from your earlier posts you are using the atomisers and separate carts? My PERSONAL recommendation would be to clean out the cart by running it under warm water every 3 - 3 days. How much an atomiser/cart cakes up depends on how hard you vape and the make-up of the liquid, in general the darker the liquid the quicker it will cake up on a atomiser (IMHO). Once a week you could try giving the cart/atomiser a soak with a denture cleaning tablet (works for me). I too started with atomisers and carts but now have gone over to Dual coil Cartomisers and Kanger Cartomisers on my Riva kit. Good luck, and keep asking away!

I call it puffing sometimes instead of vaping - just don't call it smoking! Lol. Glad you're getting on with it well
